Little Hints

I saw you today.

The moment came in a second,

And passed in a minute.

Your hat was sitting on your perfect black hair,

Perfectly cut.

The glasses sitting on your face gave you that look;

The look that didn't matter to me at all,

The look that meant so much to my eyes.

I finally found you.

I've been searching for you.

Literally.

She and I have been looking all around,

Hoping to catch a glance of you.

But what do we know?

You and your friend.

Inseparable.

Except for me,

The girl who challenged you.

You just seem so loving,

Careful in a way,

Taking your time with every single thing.

Today, I finally found you.

I snuck in, hugging you,

You calling me "Freshmeat"

And you doing all the cute little things that you do.

The song "I can't stand it" by NeverShoutNever playing in my head,

Especially the part that goes

"I love you I never want to let you go

The more I think about it the more I want to let you know

That everything you do

Is super duper cute

And I can't stand it."

Hinting a little

But nobody will see my hints.

I like you way more than I'm showing.

But in my mind, I tend to wonder

When will you notice me? When will I notice you?
