I'm okay....is that what you want me to say? So you don't have to worry about me...about how broken I may truly be. But I'll say that I'm okay...obviously just for your sake. I hope you notice my dull eyes looking into yours. I hope you notice the way I fake my smile. I hope you see me trudging down the corridor. I hope you realize you care. I hope you realize that I had feelings for you. I hope you start feeling guilty too. And I hope that you start loving me. Only for you to come up to me and say you're sorry. And I, to walk away...from my fatal mistake.
