1. bring spouse to wide area (big enough area for a crown to dance in)
2. Start playing The Phantom of the Opera song from the movie.
3. Have a crowd of couples start dancing in the area (you can alter the dance to match the song how you would like)

4. At the point in the song when the male stats singing the spouse that is going to propose shall start lip singing or if feels comfortable to sing the part should make his or her way through the crowd to approach the spouse who is being proposed to.
5. the spouse who is proposing shall take the spouse who is being proposed to by the hand and start dancing (the crowd is still dancing at this step)
6. At the end of the song when the last high pitch is sung the spouse who is proposing shall propose
