The music was pumping loudly and I could feel it through my whole body. I haven't gone out in way too long.
I laughed as I felt the alcohol course through my veins, begging me to move more. Grind more. Drink more. I do as it whispers and look around, searching for the girls I had come here with.
I saw Ruby sitting at the table we had perched ourselves at, laughing in to the neck of her ex. The sight didn't surprise me. I continued to look around, seeing Steph and Emma holding hands as they drunkenly stumbled into the toilets, smiles plastered on their faces and laughs lingering in the air they left behind them. I ignore the pit in my stomach and didn't bother looking for Dakota, by this point I'd be surprised if she was still even here.
I sighed, I really did need that drink. Something strong. I felt two hands on my hips just as I was about to dance over to the bar. God that feels good, having someone's hands on my hips. Feeling something. Feeling someone.
I laughed a little bit too myself, I really do need to get out more.
I go to dance against the guy, doing my best to grind against him before turning around so I could see his face.
Not bad. He smirked before tightening his grip and leaning in. After a little bit of mediocre snogging I whisper; "Why don't you buy me a drink? A really, really strong one."
He nods, but doesn't leave before whispering into my ear like I did him. "You better be here when I get back." He winked and headed off to the bar.
I felt a warmth in my stomach. I know it was stupid, but I suddenly felt a little bit more wanted. Someone wanted to spend their time with me right now, drunk or not. I knew all he wanted was to get in my pants, but regardless it was a nice feeling. I smiled as I continued to sway my hips to the music. Closing my eyes, I let the DJ take me for a while.
I felt hands on me again, "You took your time." I smiled before turning around, expecting my alcohol and the face of another. The guy in front of me was one I didn't recognize and a little bit confused.
I look up to see guy #1 talking to another girl at the bar. There goes my vodka. I turn around to dance with the second set of hands before realising he had already moved on; with his tongue down someone else's throat.
I scowled at the couple before heading to the bar. As I walked closer to my could-have-been drink, something in me sparked and I wanted to rip the cocktail out of the other girl's hand. How come she got it? How come she got the attention? I peeked over, it wasn't even a cheap, basic drink. Ugh. The lack of alcohol caused my drunken haze to fade way too quickly to consider getting into a fight.
I could buy my own damn drink, I am an independent grown ass women.
I go up to the bar, "She'll have a gin and tonic please." That was my drink. Well, I mean the drink I would have ordered. I look over to whoever ordered it and he was staring me down.
His brown curled hair flopped over his beautiful face and it was the best thing. His eyes were so dark they were almost black and I loved the way he looked at me.
"And you are?" I smirked, leaning into him.
"Ordering you a drink." Couldn't argue with that.
"Well I'm perfectly capable of ordering my own, Thank You." I say in a snarky tone and look over to where the bartender had just placed my drink on to the counter.
"I'll have a couple of vodka shots please." I pick up my drink and scull half of it, keeping eye contact with mystery boy. I put the drink down after I feel a brain freeze coming.
