{Kit's POV}
I starred outside the car window as trees zoomed past us, both earphones bursting music into my ears as I tapped my foot to the rhythm of the music and soon fell into a daydream. It was 10 days after my 16th Birthday and my parents were rushing us out of the city for a reason I wish never happened, being in a family full of shape shifters it was difficult to believe if you're really human or not. I sighed as my eyes slowly dropped. "Kit!" My eyes quickly opened and I sat up to see my mother looking at me with a soft smile "Hunny we're just stopping quick for a toilet break and more snacks" She laughed and pointed to the empty gummy bear wrappers that laid around me and I rolled my eyes before nodding and watched her turn back around to look at the road. I sighed again and rested my head on the head rest and watched the trees getting smaller and soon the view was gravel and fields full of animals such as cows, sheep and horses. I chewed my lip which was a bad habit for me when I was nervous which I was as it was my first time moving homes well homes from our home town. I sighed and rolled my head around a little and groaned as I soon got whip-lash. I rubbed the sore spot of my whip-lash and muttered in annoyance to myself before shifting to get ready to jump out of the car as it slowed down in a petrol station. My father climbed out first to put more petrol into the car as I watched my mother climb out and walk towards the shop, I jumped out and quickly rushed after my mother spotting the toilets sign easily before rushing into one of the toilet stalls, I wrinkled my nose as it wasn't a pleasant smell in the toilets but at least it was a great place to do your business I guess. I quickly shimmed my trousers off and sat on the toilet before doing my job then shimmed my trousers back up and flushed the toilet, I sighed softly before stepping out of the toilet stall and washed my hands in the tiny sink, looking around for a blow-dryer and groaned in annoyance as I saw the 'Out of order' Sign hanging off it. I whipped my hands on my trousers and stepped out, looking around for my parents who were back at the car and waving me over, I ran over and smiled.
"Back!" I grinned and climbed into the car with a soft sigh as I put my seat belt on and looked around the petrol station as my parents climbed in and put their seatbelts on and soon the car was started. I sighed as we pulled away from the petrol station and soon was on the road again. I sighed and closed my eyes soon drifting off into sleep. I was running, I wasn't sure where I was running to or what I was running from but I knew it was something bad. I looked back and gasped, tripping and ripping the white night gown I was in. I gasped and looked down at the blood that formed from the cut that just appeared on my knee. I groaned in pain and looked up to see bright glowing red eyes and began to scream before another wolf jumped over me both wolves snarling and circling each other. The two stood at 5'8 being taller then me in both human and wolf form. I stared in horror as the two continued to circle before the white wolf snapped at the red eyed one who jumped back and snarled the two attacking each other. My eyes opened quickly as I felt my mother shaking my shoulder. I groaned softly and looked around at my surroundings to see we was in a forest outside a large house which looked like a mansion. it was made with concrete tiles and bricks house with large glass windows and about two large glass slide doors on one side a wooden door in the middle. I looked around at the porch which was a large wooden platform with a large table and chairs surrounding it and an outside bar near "Whoo..." I whispered softly as I climbed out of the car and looked up at the now darkening sky and soon small head lights flashed on above the outside bar and in the house. I spotted a few people moving around in the kitchen, others laughing in the living room and bit my lip as I followed my mum to the boot as my dad opened it and started taking all our luggage out.
I took my stuff and followed the two quietly, dragging my suitcase behind me as we stepped up the steps and soon got to the front door which was opened with a male who stood a little taller then my father, he had slicked back dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, he smiled and looked at us stroking the short beard that sat on his chin "You must be the McKenna's we have been waiting" He chuckled before 'bro-hugging' my father "Good to see you Martin."
