How I feel around you
You're talking to your friends
I like I don't exist
I've been trying for years now
To let you in on how I feel
But I'm scared that you won't
Feel the same way
I'm scared that even if you like me
You'll play me in the end
I like you because you have humour
And eyes that make me melt
Your smile is as radiant as the sun
And your laugh is enough to make me love you even more
But what you really think of you
I don't exactly know yet
Do you suppose we have a chance together
I'm a very insecure girl
I don't think we will
If that's what you want
Because you're everything I've ever wanted
But you don't feel the same way
I'll just smile and pretend
Everything's fine
When really,it's not
But I heard sayings of how you love someone,
You should let them go
So I will; to you.
