Chapter 1

Granny's diner was bustling with customers like usual, the older lady that owned the establishment was finishing up with an order that was just placed in one of the booths, thanking the gentleman who ordered his rare sirloin steak and eggs, she turned her attention to the bar, looking over her glasses at the two women who were in deep conversation, her ears perked up when she overhead the Mayor teasing and flirting with the blonde sheriff, now she was not too happy with what she was hearing, due to the fact that she knew that Ruby and Emma were heavily involved with each other, Granny shook her head and walked by them slowly, she made a crass remark to the raven haired woman saying something to the effect of she is about as easy as the eggs that were just prepared for the gentleman in booth 9. Regina took a swig of beer and laughed in amusement at her comment before telling the old woman to mind her own damn business. The elder threw up her hands and walked to the other side of the room in a huff. Emma looked over at Regina squinting her eyes, she elbowed her in the arm for making such a rude comment, beings that she was her lovers grandmother and how she respected the woman greatly.

"Was that really necessary?"

Gina scoffed slamming her glass on the bar. "Well was HER comment necessary? Calling ME easy? She has alot of nerve Swan."

Emma snickered and took a drink of beer from her pint glass letting it set in her mouth for a moment before swallowing it down her throat. "You do realize she has wolf hearing right? She probably heard you tell me about how nice my ass looks in these jeans that I'm wearing, and the other flirty comments that were made. Speaking of which you need to stop doing, you know I'm with Ruby and that I love her, you need to come to terms with that."

The dark haired mistress took another drink of her beer before setting it down upon the bar, she looked over at Emma who was twirling her drink in her hand. She felt Regina's stare which made the hairs on the back of her neck stand at attention, looking over she gave a sideways glance, wondering what the hell was going through that mind.

"Is there...something you want to say Gina? You are just staring away at me sooo."

"No...I'm fine Swan...really." The queen stated with a slight grumble at the end of her answer.

Emma snorted, knowing she was lying through her pearly white teeth. "Bullshit! Ok Regina spit it out...what's going on? Ever since I told you that I...love Ruby, I don't know...I was expecting some sass from you, and I didn't even get a snap back...so what's on your mind?"

Regina looked at the contents in her glass, she sighed before throwing the rest back in one gulp in the hopes she may get a bit buzzed to ask her what was on her mind, and what has been there for so long. "I...I am afraid to even ask, cause I guess I will already know the answer...so never mind...*sighs*"

Emma glared at her, she knows that Regina is only after one thing. "Well if its about me sleeping with you, then yes...the answer is no."

The mayor straightened in her seat, she took a deep intake of breath before exhaling slowly to try and speak her mind. "Well...ugh...look I'm going to get to the point..."

Regina felt like throwing her glass across the room, she was frustrated to say the least, trying to think of even getting the words out of her mouth of how she felt about the green eyed blonde, biting her bottom lip Regina sat there for a moment, her lips quivering in a nervous twitch, she was just about to spill the beans when she saw the tall brunette in her peripherals, she grunted and smacked her hands down upon her thighs, *dammit why the hell did she have to show up now?* The Mayor thought scrunching her face at Ruby who was coming towards them, Emma noticed furrowing her brows at the beautiful raven haired woman.

"Wow what the hell is...?" Before Emma could say another word she saw her lover striding over, she smiled regarding the beautiful svelte woman.

The wolf walked from the back of the diner holding a bag in her hand, she saw the two conversing and she shot Regina a "fuck you bitch" look, she came over and smiled back at the Swan who was giving her a starry eyed glance, Ruby rubbed Emma's shoulders kneading into them, feeling her relax at her delicate touch before speaking. "Bye love I'm off to the market to get dinner for tonight."
