Once upon a time, there was a land where magical beings and regular mortals lived in harmony. Everyday the sun would rise and set in colorful rainbows cast by magic users, and as gratitude, mortals would grant them comfortable living spaces. During the day, mortals and elementals would work together to bring imagination to real life. Ha. Really makes you yawn and think "Typical fairy tale, isn't it? The kind where nothing goes wrong?" Just imagine this. One day, you're living happily with your family, three years old, nothing weird happening, and then two gunshots right by your ear, your parents fall, blood gushing out of their stomach, you watching your parent's very life drain away. And even before their eyes glaze over, you're being handcuffed and dragged away. Oh, and did I mention you're three? They lock you up in a horrible prison with just enough food and water to keep you going, and if you stay there too long, they kill you. Not so much of a bedtime story now, is it?

In Hiding: Conversion to Light
RandomLong story short - I'm stuck on the first book and decided to start over and change the plot a little. Also, when this story reaches 10,000 words, I might add a sequel.
