The only light that illuminated the dark closest that hid me from the world was from the moon seeping through the lace curtains creating an intricate pattern between the blinds. The small flimsy closet door of Rosalie's room was the only thing that separated me from the sound of my mothers screams that howled through the house bursting in my ears. The laughter of the monster who attacked us echoed in my mind as I quickly but quietly slid against the back of the left side of the closet wall until I found myself in a small dark enclosure. I fumbled around making sure to not make a noise until I found the door and quietly closed it. Suddenly I heard a quiet flick noise that came from behind me and a blinding light pierced my eyes. After a moment my eyes adjusted to the light and was looking at a small key pad like what you would find on any lock screen on any cell phone.

113099 I punched in hurriedly a number I knew by heart, my birth date their was a loud crunch and screech as metal grinned on itself and the I was being plunged downward. My mothers word echoed in my mind if, "if something is to ever happen I want you to go to Rosalie's closet find the secret pathway against the back of the left side of the wall, find the key pad and put in your birth date. Do not mind the noise I've put a spell on the room you will be silent outside even though the noise will sound deafening. There will be more instructions waiting later. REMEMBER DO NOT TURN BACK!" Every year she told me this and every year i dismissed her warnings. Poor Rosalie charged the attacker he snapped her neck and laughed then mother pushed me and said "Go" knowing I would remember then her terrible screams flowed through the house.

The walls that surrounded me seemed to fall apart as we slammed to the bottom the door I firmly closed ripping open with an awful screech. All that was outside my little metal room was darkness till i took a step out then click, click, click, click, the sounds of blinding lights turning on one by one revealing what looked like a hidden laboratory. I could see long halls that never seemed to end many and many rooms with numbers across. The side each room had glass windows in them and you could see equipment in side the rooms. The room on my right struck out to me and called my name 113099 was boldly written on the door.
