Chapter 1.

The day Jack Savage arrived, was probably the worst day ever for Nick. But he didn't want to ruin it for his bunny friend, Judy, who seemed to be so excited about this. She was just beaming with excitement, and Nick didn't have the heart to ruin it with his lovey dubby, selfish feelings. He looked over at Judy and sighed. She was smiling ear to ear. "Nick can you believe we get to meet Jack Savage? Its like a dream!" She said happily. Nick sighed. "Yep, a dream." He said sarcastically, but Judy didn't catch this sarcasm. Thank god. I mean, what if they did get together? I mean she would probably chose him over Nick, because well, they can have biologically have babies. Nick and Judy couldn't have babies, nor adopt. And Jack was the first bunny agent, and Judy was the first cop. It was a match made in heaven. They were made for each other. Nick almost gagged at the thought. We finally got to the ZPD. We walked in the doors and stopped at the desk to talk to Clawhauser. "Goodmorning Judy and Nick." Clawhauser said as he took a bite of his donut. "Goodmorning, Benj!" Judy said beaming. "When did you start calling me that?" Clawhauser said, laughing. "Sorry, I'm just excited today. I finally get to meet my idol, Jack Savage! Speaking of him, where is he?" She asked. "Oh, he's in roll call." Clawhauser said pointing that direction . "Thanks Benj!" Judy said skipping all the way to the roll call room. Nick just stood there a sighed. "Someone's jealous." Clawhauser said snickering. "What? No way, why would I be jealous? I'm not jealous!" Nick said nervously, starting to walk off. "Okay, whatever you say Wilde. But I can tell when someone is jealous. Trust me." Clawhauser yelled behind him. Nick sighed at the thought of Judy and Jack. This could not be happening right now.

He started to adjust his badge he looked into the doorway and saw Judy and Jack talking. He sighed and walked up to Judy. She looked up at Nick and smiled. "Oh hey Nick! Meet Jack." Jack held out his hand for Nick to shake. Nick hesitated, but took his hand anyway. He gave Jack a dirty look, and Jack smirked. He was really starting to hate this guy. Chief Bogo walked in, causing them to return to their seats. Good timing. Nick was about ready to pounce on Jack. All the officers began to bang their paws on the table while chanting as Bogo walked in. "Okay, okay calm down!" Bogo boomed. "I have an announcement. We have a special guest with us today." Nick rolled his eyes. "Intoroducing, the first ever bunny agent, Jack Savage." Everyone clapped, including Judy. Nick just huffed and rolled his eyes. "Jack will be helping with a serious case. He will be assigned with two partners, and all three of them will go out undercover and search for a thief who has been robbing multiple jewelry stores. The mammals working with him will be Judy and Nick." Judy almost screamed, but kept her cool. Awesome. Now he had to work with that stupid rabbit. "Its an honor to work with you sir." Judy said. Jack smirked. Nick shot him another dirty look, hoping Judy saw. As Bogo assigned the rest of the tasks, Judy, Nick and Jack started off to Judy's office to talk about the case. "So this is your office?" Jack asked curiously. "Actually it's me and Nick's office, but mostly mine." Judy said laughing and elbowed Nick. Nick faked a laugh, pretending it was the funniest thing she had ever said. They both looked at him oddly. Nick cleared his throat. "So, the case." Nick said, trying to change the subject. "Okay." Jack said as he opened the folder he was holding. "So, he is supposedly going to appear at a party tonight, and we are going to go undercover and try to find out who he is." Judy nodded. "But if we don't know who he is, how are we going to know what to look for?" Nick asked. "Well the party is in a building next door to a jewelry store, so we just have to look for anyone who seems suspicious. Any officer should know that." He said as he started to write some stuff on the folder. Nick had to stop himself from lunging at the guy. This guy was really starting to get on his nerves. How was he supposed to work with this guy all day? He needed a bathroom break. "Well, I need to go use the restroom, be right back." He said walking out and gritting his teeth. Judy and Jack turned around and started typing stuff on the computer. Nick hesitated and turned around while looking at Judy. He turned back around and walked out. He walked into the restroom and started walking toward the stall, but stopped. He immediately regretted leaving the two alone. He rushed back and looked through the door that he left cracked open. "We don't have to tell him." Jack said, putting his paw on her face. Judy looked surprised. He started leaning closer to Judy, and the placed his paw on her waist. That's what blew Nick past his breaking point. He busted threw the door like he just saw nothing. "Hey guys!" He said enthusiastically. Judy and Jack immediately pulled away, looking down. "Are we ready to crack this case?" Nick asked. "U-uh yeah sure," Judy said, looking flushed. She started typing stuff on her computer while Jack was beside her, watching over her shoulder. "Ugh what is wrong with this computer? Why isn't it working?" She complained. "Here, let me help!" Nick said before Jack could jump in. Nick walked up to the other side of Judy. "So what's wrong?" He asked her. "Well, I'm trying to see if maybe there is some pattern, you know, of the stores he is robbing." She said. "Hm, smart." Jack said. Nick shot him a look, causing Jack to shoot him a look back. "Oh, I see the problem Judy. You just have to click this." Nick said as he grabbed the mouse guiding her paw to it. He blushed a little bit. "It worked! Thanks Nick, your a big help!" Nick smiled. "Well, I am your partner after all." Nick said as he smirked at Jack, causing him to groan. "Oh my god, there is an pattern. Its an alphabetical order, look! Antique and Jewlery, Borne's Jewlery, Ceaser's Jewlery! So the last one on here starts with F, so the next one starts with a G! Jack, what's that jewlery store called?" Jack's eyes lit up. "Ginny's Jewlery Shop!" He said jumping up and down. He hugged her which surprised her, and Nick. Especially since he had been giving Jack dirty looks all day. Realization hit Jack and he pulled away and cleared his throat. Nick had to hold his anger in. He bit his lip and put his focus back on the case. There was a knock on the door and Clawhauser came in. "Nick, your presence is requested in Bogo's office." I looked at Judy and walked out. I dragged my feet to Bogo's office, while thinking of what Judy and Jack were possibly doing in the office right now. He needed to hurry. He gripped the door knob and opened it up. As always, it was dark in there. He sat in the chair that sat in front of Bogo's desk. "Nick, I just wanted to inform you that your mom called me. Nick gasped. He could not believe his ears . Why would his mom call? And how did she get Bogo's number? "She wanted me to tell you, she's sick in the hospital." Nick's stomach felt like it just dropped to the floor. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "She said she wants you to come visit her tomorrow. She said she would have called you, but she couldn't find your number." Nick was on verge to tears. Nick gripped the chair and sighed. "Thank you, chief. Thanks for letting me know." Chief sighed. "Your welcome Wilde. I'm so sorry." Nick slowly got out of the chair and left the room, rethinking what he just heard. He couldn't believe any of this. As he made his way back to the office he heard some voices. It was some of the officers standing against the wall drinking coffee and talking. Nick hid around the corner and listened. He knew he shouldn't be nosy, but he couldn't resist. "Did you see Jack and Judy? They seem like the perfect couple." The other officer nodded in agreement. "They're made for each other. I mean Judy is the first bunny cop, and Jack is the first bunny agent. It just makes sense." Nick couldn't listen anymore. He balled his fist as he walked back to the room. Without thinking, he opened the door and saw something he hoped he would never have to see. Judy and Jack were kissing.
