Scorpion stood over the body. He was very confused. Dead people were supposed to look peaceful, weren't they? And yet, Sub-Zero looked as if he could spring up any moment, and resume that the fight that Scorpion had just won. But Scorpion brushed it aside; he had better things to do than worry because a body looked suspicious. Besides, Sub-Zero deserved what he got, thought Scorpion. Sub-Zero had murdered Scorpion's family. Cassie, on the other hand, had a very different version of events. "Scorpion!" She cried, running over to him.
"Can't you see I'm busy?" Scorpion hissed, not taking his eyes off of Sub-Zero. "You'll have to do whatever you need to do later."
"No, Scorpion! This can't wait, this is important!" Cassie yelled.
"Fine, what do you want?"
"I have just found out something shocking!"
"Which is?"
"Sub-Zero didn't murder your family!" Cassie announced smugly.
"No, he did."
"He didn't!" Cassie protested.
"Enough," Scorpion snapped. "Cassie, I am sick and tired of your little games. What Sub-Zero did to my family is no joke, and I do not expect you to make it one."
"No, Scorpion! I have proof! Please, just hear me out," Cassie begged.
"Fine. It's not as though I have anything better to do, anyway."
"Your family were stabbed, right?" Cassie asked eagerly.
"Right. Is that important?"
"Extremely. So, they were stabbed, but Sub-Zero's knife didn't have any blood on it! But Shang-Loon's did!"
"So, you mean to tell me that I have the wrong guy, and killed someone for no apparent reason?"
