The first child of Harry's that Snape met was James. "Brilliant," he sneered. "Potter's spawn has come to torment me. Do tell, what is your name?"
"James Sirius, Professor Sniviley. Nice to meet you." He grinned and stuck out his hand to the portrait.
The second was Lily Luna. When Snape saw her, his eyes teared up. "Lily Evans? Is that you?"
The little girl stared at him. "No sir," she said. "My name is Lily Potter." Snape immediately walked out of his picture, not letting a little girl see him cry.
The third and final child was, of course, Albus Severus. This time, Dumbledore was with him. The boy looked up at him in awe. "And you are?" Dumbledore asked softly.
"Albus Severus Potter, sir."
Snape, wide eyed, said, "Potter named his son after me?"
Albus smiled.
"Bravest man he's ever known, sir."
