I randomly find myself forgetting the characters and to help you guys out as well, here is a small guide to keep you up to speed with the story.

=Dogs=

Corky-Mutt-A older dog, been in the kennels for 4 years since he was a pup. (6 years old)

Shadow-Shih Tzu-Black with green eyes, been locked up for 2 years. (4 years old)

Panther-Chihuahua-Deceased-Saved from a puppy mill, caged for 3 years. (10 years old)

Scuttle-Corgi-Very intelligent pup taken from his owners, just put into the jail. (2 years old)

Jax-French Bulldog-Very touchy, strong dog,white with amber eyes, saved from dog fights. (5 years old)

Em-Pomeranian-Quiet female, very agile and smart, found on the streets. ( 5 years old)

=Humans=

Vet-Owner-Owner of the whole place, when he enters the kennels, a strong scent of fear spreads throughout the hallway.

Girl-Applicant-Provided info about the button that opens all the kennels.
