Chapter 1

I look at the Eiffel Tower taking in it's beauty it looks way better than how i see it in photos.

" Alice?" I hear someone shouting.
I look up to see an angry teacher looking at me.
Oh oh

"Y..yes Mrs. James?" I answered, she seems really angry.

"can you answer this question? Or were you too busy daydreaming?" She says in her angry tone. Mrs. James is always angry... ALWAYS.

" uh.. Sorry mrs. i wasn't paying attention" i answered. She gives me a death glare

" meet me after the class Miss Edward" I hear some people fake a gasp at the back, if Mrs. James asks to see you, then you know you are in trouble, especially when she calls you with your middle name that was never a good sign.

" ok.. Okay". The bell rings and i try to colect my things fast hopping that she forgot but while i was exiting " Alice" i heard Mrs. James calling me, I slowly turn to her.

"Yes Mrs.?" I answered trying to act as if nothing happened.

" I wanted to talk to you"

" sure" i answered back.

" Alice.... You weren't paying attention in the class today" she says. " that's a big deal because you get tested in what i say" she continues.
I just nod silently.

"Please pay more attention, you started good at the beginning of the year don't waste your work at the end of it". I nod again.

"You can go to your lunch now" Wait, what? That's it? I'm not getting a detention? She won't call my parents? Woww.

" thank you" i politely excuse myself and leave, wow that wasn't bad.
I stand in the hall waiting for Samantha to come out of her class so we can go to lunch together.

"Had fun with Miss James?" I look around to see who was talking and i see him, the one that irritates me the most.

"None of your business Adam" i say in a warning tone.

"Did she invite you to a tea party with her reading club? Actually i was surprised to see the teacher's pet getting detention" he said smirking, god i hate him so much.

"First of all, i am not a teacher's pet Adam and you know this so well, second of all, no I didn't get a detention" i said half shouting.

"Which proves my point" he said while walking away smirking. God i hate every single piece of him.

"Having a rough day?" I look to see Samantha coming in my way.

"Kinda, Miss James nearly gave me a detention and i ran into Adam and you know what? He said i am a teacher's pet!!"

" wait, a teacher's pet?" She started laughing as we were sitting down with our trays. " No offense Alice but you do your homework in the car and you don't study for your tests even though you get good grades at the end but still you barely work. And what about the detention thing?" She said while eating her potatoes.

"I wasn't paying attention in class" i answered.

" i see... Dreaming about your night shining armor?" She winked.

"Yea, i was dreaming about him., i was imagining how good he tastes especially with extra cheese and olives, damn he is so good in this chicken barbecue outfit! " i said in a dramatic tone.

"God you never stop talking about pizza, don't you?" She laughed. "No for real what were you thinking about?" She continued.

"I can't wait for my trip to Paris" i answered, remembering my daydream.
