I heard her talkin' to Pappy and Paw one day; she says she'll finally pay of the debt! I dunno what that means, but Pappy and Paw seemed awful happy!
I ain't seen Momma, Paw or Pappy for a long time, no sir. Paw told me they was takin' me on a trip! I miss them a lot, this trip ain't very fun.
The big man in the suit tells me to tell these people I see their dead relatives, or I'll get sold again. That doesn't make very much sense. You can't sell little girls like me, nuh-uh! Sellin' is for yard sales and shops, silly.

I hid out in the ditch near the road! People's been puttin' up fliers for a missin' little girl. She looks an awful lot like me! Them people hangin' up the fliers... They're the big men!
I don't want them to find me! I tell you what, I'm awful good at hide n' seek! I ain't ever lost a game, not once!
