Wish upon a star

Chapter 1

Hi. I'm Annie lovegood Couple facts about me... Well I want to change my name to Abby. I miss my family(they died years and years ago) And I have found true love. Oh lastly, I have a crazy story! About 2 centuries ago people started noticing that they would make a wish and it either would never come true or it would take years to occur and the wisher had moved on. So they decided that while we may be lying to the general public it may work better to have these ' wish makers' out fixing people's lives and granting wishes. Well they developed the technology needed for light speed space travel (yes like stars wars/ Star Trek) and  they decided to not tell anyone who wasn't a wish maker about this. I am 223 years old I was about 23 when they sent me up to space to work as a wish maker. I haven't aged a bit and I never will. I will always stay 23 and I'll be in space with minimal time on earth. It was depressing having to watch my entire family die. I had to watch one of my friends, Lily, kill my brother as she was assigned a wish from someone to do it. Another scary thing, If we don't accomplish a wish we are assigned if we let someone down we are punished. And it's not good. I have bruises, I have cuts and scars, I have memories. We call it the thrasher. We stay away from where the thrasher is kept. We all know what harm may come from it.

    I get a notification from my ring. We have to keep it on at all times. It's a tracker, a calendar, a map etc etc. I was just assigned a new wish. I am usually excited I live to make people happy.
' YOUR MISSION IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, find Eli runner and save him from court and law. He is innocent wrongly accused. REWARD WILL BE ADMINISTERED WHEN TASK IS COMPLETED,ASAP!!!!!!!! I  find an empty pod to go to earth get in and take off. I'll be there in 30 mins.
I go into my maps and locate jake. Once I found him I sync my pod to my map and I'm on my way. I devise a plan on how I'm going to save Jake. Once I have a full proof plan, I get a light snack and eat. I land and try and fit in by simply changing into some clothes that are popular. I look around as if I was a tourist getting a few looks, here in New York I don't think they like tourist. So I quickly change my attitude to a locals attitude. I run across the  street and quickly see the courthouse, so I bolt into the  room and confront the judge while everyone is watching When I burst in I pull all eyes to me. " RELEASE THIS WRONGLY ACCUSED MAN. WHILE HE HAS COMMITTED A SMALLER CRIME HE IS INDEED INNOCENT IN THE CASE OF THE PEOPLE VS ELIHE HAS A ALIBI HE HAS NOT TOLD YOU. HE WAS AT MY HOUSE PLAYING JACKS WITH MEAT THE TIME OF  THE CRIME.!! " I yell ferociously.  The judge seems skeptical and asks Eli if I am lying or not. With no hesitation he complies to my story and says he was embarrassed to tell people he lost to a girl while playing jacks.The judge gave him a minor community service punishment and I a small fine for interacting in a active trial without consulting the judge. I slip away back to my pod and head back up. When I collect my reward I am disappointed to learn its only a couple bucks. When I get back to what I now call home aka space craft # 5,123,100, there were a lot of trial and error/ misfortunate mishaps, I know that I will have to report to my higher up.

I find Melanie and tell her mission status and outcome. Yet another day I am spared the thrasher. I got to my room to take my vacation/rest week. It's the only time we are aloud to take our ring off and don't have to report for anything unless there is a very pressing reason. I lay down and wait lily is going to start hers in a hour so we can have some time for a girl week. I take a nap knowing the ringtone for face gap is basically an alarm clock.

I wake up to face gap exactly and hour later. Lily is a perfectionist. So I knew when I woke up I needed to answer that gap right away. Or forfeit talking to my friend until she came over. "Hay Abby" (I finally convinced her to call me my dream name I just hated my actual name) " Hay lils what's up" " eh nothing much how about you my mate" " Well I'm glad to have taken of my ring." "Haha me too buddy me too, say Abby have you changed your room again?" "I have actually, I moved my bed under the window and have  new bedspread and sheets. I also got a bean bag chair and another mini fridge. I modified my room using voice command to make a little cave if you will where I put some books a blanket and a couple of pillows. Now this part is truly amazing. I tricked my rooms central command into thinking my bed was just a blow up mattress and with that I still had the option of a (second) bed. I went into the main frame system and made hammock an option and installed that into my room then I went in and changed it back to whatever it was I forgot. But then I have the normal stuff ya know, love couch, comfy chair, kitchen, bathroom... Oh yeah I modified the bathroom. So basically I went into the main central command down in hq and asked if I could check on something for my last mission.  They obviously said yes. So I found a empty office with two way glass so I could see them walking around outside the walls but they didn't know I was in there. I had two browsers open in case someone walked in so I could minimize one of them. I hacked into my higher ups, higher up. And basically made it believe my room was his room. So I added a jacuzzi bath tub and upgraded my shower and towels to premium. Now the people who deliver my towels every week would be dumbfound and report me, so I also installed a cloak, everyday when I leave it churns on and makes my room turn back to normal until I am back and turn it back. Now if any of my higher ups walk in I have a camera outside my door that will see their face and cloak it without me inducing it and if one of my lowers come I'll just bribe them with an update and a cloak so they can have alcohol etc." Bloody hell Thats brilliant Abby!" She looked truly amazed. "Yeah I guess. So later want me to make your room special?" "Hell yes" "HOLY CRAP MELANIE IS COMING MY ROOM JUST CLOAKED ITSELF START TALKING ABOUT YOUR LATEST MISSION OR SOMETHING SO IT DOESNT SEEM WELL WEIRD IR MAKE A JOKE OR SOMETHING!"
Oh no she is getting closer and lily hasn't said anything. " Just start laughing really hard until she knocks then say one second" she whispered coarsely. I laughed until my throat hurt and then Melanie knocked finally, " Hold on just one moment please, I'll be right back lily hold on" I quickly set down my phone and walked to the door. Melanie stood there looking well wild with a twinkle in her eye. " Hello Annie" she said with a slow unnatural passion. "Why hello there Melanie I was just about to go to Lily's room, is there something you'd like to say before I go?" I lied, straight to her face ugh. "No, just doing a... checkup if you will ms. Looveegooood" she said slowly and loudly drawing out the o's and e's. She sauntered out and didn't even look back. I swear she is evil. I grab my phone and,
