"mom why do we have to go!?" I ask my mom as she puts the rest of our stuff in the car, " because sweetie I can't stay here any longer it just reminds me of your day to much and I can have a better job in Texas anyways" my mom told me before she got into the car, "ugh!" I say in annoyance before I myself got in to the car
Hi my name is Katie I have lived in Kentucky my hole life with just me, my dad and my mom we were so happy for 15 years until my mom got a call one day that my dad had been in a huge car accident, it took me about 3 months before I realized that my dad was actually gone and that I had to move on, about a month after I got myself back to normal my mom told me we were moving to Texas, just great well I'm going to have the worst life on the planet because now i have to go through meeting new people and going a new school ggrrreeeaaattt my life just can't get any worse...
"Skip the car ride"
We finally get to the house, I have to admit it's a pretty cool looking house and it's huge but I still hate that we had to move here anyways we get all our stuff in packed and I decide to go for a little ride so I get my penny board and head out. I'm riding along when all of a sudden I here "LOOK OUT!!" And then im on the ground with some random person on top of me! He get up quickly and brushes him self off, he then looks at me and frowns " oh my gosh I'm so sorry here let me help you" he helps me up and gives me my board and smiles "are you okay " he asks, "uh yeah, thanks" he's actually pretty cute he has really cute eyes that I can just gaze in for hours, " hey I haven't seen you around before are yiu new here?" He asks as I'm knocked out of my train of thought " um yeah I just moved here from Kentucky" I say he then gives me a smile and puts out his hand " well then I'm Blake Gray whats your name?" He asks " Katie nice to meet you Blake" "and nice to meet you too Katie" he says with a wink, I blush a little " say you don't mind me walking you home it's getting pretty dark and there are some guys who would want to throw them selves at a beautiful girl like you" I nod my head in agreement and we start walking to my house we chat on the way and we actually have a lot in common, he's an only child also and so we talked about how it's annoying and good at the same time but before we could talk about anything else we arrived at my house" well it looks like I gtg know bye" I start to walk away when he calls me out " Katie!" "Yeah" " do you think I could get your number? So then I could ask you if you wanna hang sometime I only live a few houses down " I give him a smile and give him my phone and he gives me his we exchange numbers and I go inside my house. I run upstairs before mom my could call me I shut my door and lock it. I fall on my bed and start to watch TV untill my phone went off I got a text from Blake😊 ( B for Blake and k for Katie)

B- hey it's Blake just wanted to know if you might want to hang your with me tomorrow?
K- sure I would love to 😊
B- great I will see you around 2:30 at your place
K- sounds good👍
B- alright good night beautiful😘
K- good night Blake 😳😳
I smile at his text and then go to bed. Maybe moving isn't that bad....
