Sweating in the train station, I wait, patiently. I look around, and only see three people around me. One guy has a man bun that I have to say looks fantastic on him. He's wearing glasses, a navy blue shirt with ripped jeans. A woman is wearing a sun dress with vibrant colors all over it. Long brown hair and a necklace shaped like a heart. And the last person is another man. Short hair, white polo shirt with black shorts. I sigh. The train was supposed to be here in 5 minutes ago. My legs start to hurt, and I need to sit down. I look at the time. It's 10:21 pm. Great. I'm gonna make my girlfriend mad. I take out my phone and text her.

Hey babe. I'm gonna be late... Again. Sry, the trains just taking forever. I'll be there as soon as I can. Luv u.

I press send, but nothing happens. Amazing. I don't have freaking wifi, so I can't send a text. This is why I hate trains. So unreliable.

Another 5 minutes later, I hear something echoing in the tunnels. The train! I smile to myself and prepare myself for sitting down in a nice air conditioned room. The trains comes. It's packed. It's freaking packed. How the heck is it so full?!?! It's literally empty in the station, why is it packed?! And this late?! Oh wow. I groan and push my way onto the train, not caring if I step on someone's foot. I just need to get home. I clutch my purse closer to me and reach out to grab a pole. The train begins to move and all of us lurch to one side and then to the other. Today, really just isn't my day.

The train ride took about 40 minutes, 10 minutes longer than usual. When I get to my station, I shove my way off and check my purse to make sure nothing was stolen. Phone, check. Metro card, check. My keys. Where the heck are my keys?! I search all over my bag, but my keys are nowhere to be found. I check my pockets, nothing. I silently cuss under my breath and begin to walk up the stairs.
