Sometimes we all lack motivation. We seek help from others and we try to learn from them what they do to stay motivated. It's silly because that is a huge form of procrastination. I find when I just go out and do things, it feels good. I also find that even though I know this fact my laziness takes over me and I can't for the life of me find motivation out of knowing that it'll make me feel better. Instead, I choose to sit around and "do nothing", when it reality I am just procrastinating. I need to find the motivation within me and it's very hard when you have so much stress. With so many thoughts running around it your head you just can't think about anything else except wanting to be lazy.

When there are so many things in life that you are trying to balance, the things that you enjoy that you set time aside for end up feeling like a chore too. It's hard to breathe in such a fast paced lifestyle. When we end up spending too much time for ourselves and not doing things to be productive then it feels as if it wasn't a break. The "me" time became a bother in our busy schedules.

The number one thought that always come back to me though is; there is not enough time in the day. But in reality, we are not making the most of the hours that we do spend awake.

I personally use a planner to help organize my day. In the morning I try to write down everything I need to accomplish today. Sometimes it is little things, but other times I write things that I might not even be able to accomplish in one day. This has helped me get things done and feel productive. Although, I have noticed that I feel terrible at the end of the day when I notice I haven't checked out anything or only a few items on my list.

I watched a video one time and this girl said that instead of writing "To Do" at the top of her list of things to get done, she writes "Things To Get Done If I Have Time", or something of the sort. This just puts things into a different perspective. We lack the motivation sometimes because we think to ourselves that we can't get all these things accomplished or we know that we didn't finish our to do list from yesterday. I'm guilty of this too and this is why I procrastinate so much.

I hope that someone out there will stumble across these thoughts that I have written and find motivation within themselves or these words. Maybe this will put someone's view on to do lists in a new perspective. Maybe I'll even find motivation from this. Either way, I hope you learned something about yourself.
