Naruto x Reader (#1)

*(Y/N) POV*

I was walking through the streets of Konohagakure when I heard my favorite knucklehead ninja screaming my name all the way from Ichiraku Ramen.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! WHY DON'T YOU COME JOIN ME FOR SOME ICHIRAKU RAMEN? It'll be delicious, BELIEVE IT!"

I couldn't help but giggle at the spiky, blonde haired ninja boy. He was always so full of energy and I enjoyed being around him but yet again I also was in love with the Uzumaki.

I jumped up onto the stool next to Naruto and decided to order Miso Ramen with extra chashu.

I was anxious sitting there waiting for my food to be placed right in front of my eyes. I glanced over at Naruto find him scarfing down yet another bowl of ramen..it was his obsession after all aside from Sakura-chan.. the moment that thought came to my mind my face dropped.. my heart always ached because I knew I could never compare to Sakura.. not in Naruto's eyes anyways.

"Oi! (Y/N) your ramen is going to get cold if you don't eat it soon!"

I glanced over at him to find him giving me a cheesy smile..with a smile like that I couldn't stay sad for very long, I was grateful to have him as a friend after all.

"R-right..thank you Naruto" I gave him a weak smile

"Anytime (Y/N), hey I was wondering after you finish up eating that maybe we can go for a walk somewhere..t-that's if you want to of course!"

"Sure Naruto..I would love to go on a walk with you.."

I could feel the heat rising up to my cheeks so I decided to look down and continue eating ramen..praying in my head that he didn't see me blush over a simple little question. He probably didn't mean anything special by it.

Once I had finished my ramen I was reaching into my pocket to grab out some money to pay when all of the sudden Naruto reaches out in front of me causing my actions to halt.

"Don't worry about it (Y/N) I'll pay for it, I am the one who invited you to join me so its the least I could do haha"

"Are you sure Naruto? I can pay for myself, it's not a big deal"

"I'm positive"

As we walked through the village I felt a sudden tug on my arm, it took me a minute to register what was going on but Naruto was taking me somewhere. Moments later we were in the middle of the woods and he was making all sorts of twists and turns trying to reach whatever his destination may be until he comes to a sudden stop. I was trying to catch my breath before I was about to lose it again..I looked around to see a small river with flowers and trees all around..it was like a secret meadow of some sort. It looked magical and so surreal. 

"I'm sorry (Y/N) for dragging you around without an explanation but I thought that I should share this place with you. As far as I know I am the only one who knows where it is, I haven't found another person here yet so far"

"It's okay Naruto! I'm glad you brought me here..it's truly beautiful!"

"Just like you..ya know"

My face was on fire and I felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest. NARUTO UZUMAKI COMPLIMENTED ME!

"T-thank you very much Naruto..you're beautiful too"

I felt like crawling into a whole after I realized how stupid I made myself look...I should have said he was handsome..not beautiful. I know he must not be flattered. I felt like I was on the verge of tears...I wanted to run from my embarrassment.. Naruto must have noticed because he was quick to give me a hug..a hug so comforting it calmed be down instantly.

"(Y/N)..don't be embarrassed, I get nervous too just like you.. and I meant what I said..you are beautiful"

"But..I'm not as beautiful as Sakura-chan.." I put my head down in shame as I pulled out of the hug unsure of what to next.

"(Y/N)..you'll always be more stunning than Sakura-chan will ever be..at least in my eyes. Not just on the outside but the inside as well. That's one of the many reasons I have always loved you.. "

"Y-you've...always..loved..me..?" I was love struck at this point, I didn't know whether to pinch myself or to faint. All I knew was that I had to confess as well before it was too late.

Before I got the chance to say anything I felt a pair of warm lips on mine and I could tell they were Naruto's because they tasted sweet plus the taste of ramen still lingered. I melted into the kiss and threw my arms around his neck to pull him closer to me..I wanted this moment to last forever. Our lips had finally pulled apart after a deep moment of passion.. I pressed my forehead to his trying to regain my composure and breath...

"I love you Naruto Uzumaki...I always have.."
