"I'm Eleanor Calder"

Start from the beginning

The train pulled into London at five past two and I was greeted by my mother who gave me a huge hug before taking my bag and going to her car. The ride to our house was filled with talk about school and my plans for the coming winter holiday. At home I tried to take a quick nap before Louis came to pick me up. We had decided that he would come get me at six and that we would do dinner before going to the club where Niall's birthday would be.

It was 5:30 when I finished getting ready for the evening. I was wearing a short black dress; a pair of black high heels with a peep toe and my hair was down and in loose curls. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and was pleased with what I saw. I grabbed my purse and coat and went down stairs to wait.

I found my mum in her usual spot in the living room with a book and tea; I went and sat in the chair opposite her.

"You look lovely." She said, putting her book down and looking at me over her reading glasses.

"Thanks." I crossed my legs and pulled my dress down a bit at the hem.

"Remind me where you are going again?" She asked.

"Just to dinner with a friend and then to another friends birthday party."

"What friend?"

"Tom." I said the first name that came to my mind "I don't think you would remember him, we went to junior school together."

I still haven't told my mum about Louis, since I myself didn't know what was going on between us. My mum has always been very protective over me and the boys I dated, and I don't know how she would handle the news that I was dating a member of a boy band, if we even were dating. I knew that I would have to tell her at some point, just not now.

"Well I hope you have a wonderful time." She took a sip of tea.

For the next twenty minuets we both talked and laughed until the doorbell rang. I jumped up before my mum could start to rise from her seat, I didn't want her to meet Louis or "Tom" yet.

"Don't worry about getting up." I crossed over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll try not to wake you up when I get home."

"Alright, have a good time." She smiled at me as I left the room.

I rushed to the door with butterflies in my stomach, stopping right in front of it and taking a deep breath before opening it.

Outside stood Louis, even more handsome than I remembered. He was wearing a light blue button up with a pair of dark blue slacks. He smiled at me as I stepped outside and closed the door behind me. He took a step back and looked at me up and down for a moment not saying anything.

"Is something wrong with my outfit?" I asked nervously.

"No." He looked into my eyes and smiled. "You just look so fit."

"Thanks." I looked down at the ground and pushed my hair behind my ears, I could feel my cheeks turning red.

"Are you ready?" Louis held his hand out down towards his car.

Louis had decided on a small Italian restraint for us to have dinner at. He had called ahead and asked for a table in the back.

"I'm really nervous to meet the other lads." I smiled as we sat down at the table.

"Why would you be nervous?" He laughed.

"I just know how much they mean to you and I want them to like me."

"Don't worry." He said opening the menu. "I like you, and therefore they will like you too." He smiled at me with a twinkle in his eye.

Once again dinner was a delight, we shared a pizza and I had a few glasses of wine to ease my nerves. After dinner we headed to the club to meet everyone for Niall's party.
