The night of Halloween
When monsters let themselves be seen
By humans, creatures all alike
The night of monsters; the night of fright
After trick-or-treating ends
The horror one monster sends
It shows all the monsters fears
Of human children crying with tears
The laughter of witches
Monsters covered with stitches
The ones with pale skin
Commit the same sin
As they have for many years past
A horrid shadow is cast
Showing the humans that every place
Is nothing but a fog filled case
The night of the monsters ball
Is not just nothing at all
The tradition that ends at sunrise
Will next year become a greater surprise
