Melody's POV
Its been a month now since Niall took me to the date and asked me to be his girlfriend.
And... the engagement I know about too. I wall flipping when I found out, how about a flashback...
(Flashback)
I walk through the door of my house, groaning flinging my keys a crossed the coffee table. I knew I shouldn't of wore these shoes, there killing me.
I changed into some sweats and a tank top. Im currently sitting on the couch eating chips and texting Niall. I heard my front door open, and running feet making its way to the living room.
"hey" Alexis says and plops down next to me, checking her twitter on her phone, holding it in her left hand. She laughs at something and I look at her, my eyes widening noticing the big rock on her ring finger.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" I scream, literally scream, she looks confused for a second then a huge smile graces a crossed her glossed lips
"you finally noticed" she gushed and my eyes are still wide eyed on the shiny ring on her finger.
"Did he-he. He did didn't he?" I fumble my words and she nods her head smiling, i never would have thought that in a million years.
"but your so young"
"we are waiting a while, a long while" she smiles and I squeal finally letting everything sink in, jumping up letting my bag of chips fall to the floor just to hug her.
"oh my god! holy shit that's a big rock!" I squeal and she nods

We talk about her and Zayn for a while, watching movies- well not really watching, too busy talking- and ate snacks.
"so enough about me, what's with you and Niall?" she giggled
"well um.. he asked me out" I say and she squeals
(End Of Flashback)
Today me and Niall were walking outside on the streets visiting shops on the way.
"I love you" Niall said hooking my chin with his fingers kissing me softly "so much" he whispers and we begin to walk again hand-in-hand.
I see a bit neon sign near an amusement park and my eyes lit up and apparently Niall seemed to notice.
"wanna go to the fair?" he asks and I nod rapidly, me dragging him into the entrance.
"lets go on the Ferris wheel!" I beam pointing to the high Ferris wheel.

We stop at the top of the Ferris wheel, and its the most beautiful scene I have ever seen. The sun is going down and the sky is a pinkish-orange color.
"this is beautiful" I whisper
"Melody?" Niall asks and I look over at Niall, I feel light headed as i see a tiny box in his hands, the color drains from my face and my palms feel sweaty. This could not be happening!
"relax. its a promise ring" Niall chuckles and relief flushes through me.
He slides the ring on my finger, I look at the thin band on my finger with a tiny ruby on it, I smile and bring my lips to his.
"you seemed like you saw a ghost when you saw the box" Niall chuckles and I force a laugh, honestly, that was a really scary moment for me.
"sorry... its just were young and all" I say and he nods seeming to agree with me, and i cant even imagine how the fans will react.

when we were just about to leave after a few hours of riding rides an playing games, which also consisted on Niall winning me a stuffed panda.
"OH MY GOD ITS NIALL HORAN!" I hear someone yell, i hear shrilling screams and girls running towards me and Niall. My breathing increases when the girls circle us, screaming Niall's name and hearing some hurtful things being thrown towards me.
Niall grips my hand leading me through the crowd.
"You bitch, you don't deserve Niall, your just a stupid gold digger!" someone yelled, I felt tears well in my eyes as more and more comments are being thrown at me.
We made it through the gate and out of the way, I was by now full on crying felling the hot, salty tears run down my cheeks.
Niall notices and says nothing, only bringing me into his arms and rubbing my back to calm me down.
"don't believe them" Niall whispers into my hair, I pull away and look into his eyes.
"Niall... they hate me, and i didn't even do anything wrong" I sob and Niall wipes the tears away with the pad of his thumb.
"they don't hate you, there just jealous of how beautiful and perfect you are" Niall hugs me again for a minute which only seemed like a few seconds, I could be in his arms for hours at a time.

Niall and I finally made it to my house, walking in we see Ashley sitting on the couch with John, their laughing and sharing kisses.
I know i shouldn't but i look up at Niall anyway to see if he's alright, he nods slightly telling me its fine.
I run to change into some sweatpants and a hoodie with my schools logo printed on it.
Niall had made me and him a sandwich, which I devour in the matter of seconds.
The doorbell rings, which instantly brings me out of some thoughts that were running through my head.
"I got it" Niall says standing up and putting his plate in the sink and walking over to the door.
The thoughts of fans screaming, and picking out every flaw that I have runs through my mind, I lift my hoodie up to reveal my tank top. I don't look fat do I? Niall says their just jealous, but, i don't know if i should let it go or not that really hurt me.
Niall's POV
Harry and Shadae stand before me on the porch step, Melody's going to be pissed if she finds out harry is here.
"hey Niall" Harry says, putting his hands in his pockets, his shoulders slightly raised because of his long arms.
"what do you want?" I say not so nicely, he may be in the same band as me but he also broke and scarred Melody's heart which I myself am pissed at.
"Niall" harry sighs, rubbing the back of his neck "Im sorry for what happened but look where that got us, were both happy and with the women we love, that's all that matters, right?" He asks
"she loved you Harry" I whisper looking down at my convers sneakers.
"some things aren't just meant to be, Niall. And if she loved me that much she wouldn't have left with you" He says and my anger rises.
"left with me?" I laugh "she left with me because I was there for her and I picked up the broken pieces of her heart because of you, its all because of you! When I look in her eyes, I can tell she is still broken, emotionally broken Harry. She just wants to be loved, but you tore something inside of her that just cant be stitched back together" My voice calms near the end of my rant, he looks upset, but I just don't care at this point.
'I think its time for you to leave" I say and close the door, sighing as I do so, turning around to see Melody right behind me. She heard our conversation?

A/N- Im so, so, so sorry i didn't update and im not going to waste my time making an excuse for the loss of updates because I don't have one just know im truly sorry but here is a long chapter, at least i think. I hope you forgive me and enjoy this chapter.
