Chapter One

Today, Ms.Cathy announced someone was going to be adopted today. I never dreamed it would be my sister and myself. You see we've been in the system for as long as I can remember. I gave up on that dream long ago. We were all standing next to each other waiting to be chosen, my sister Elizabeth, was on the right of me. A couple of men were looking the children, each one thoroughly, until they laid eye on my sister and myself.

 "Scarlet, Scarlet" my sister whispered to me excitedly! "They're looking at us, do you think..." "Don't get your hopes up dear sister" I replied, not wanting my sister hurt if we don't get chosen. Finally, after what seemed like an hour Ms.Cathy sent us back to our rooms. There we waited for her to announce who was to be adopted out. It seemed like years until Ms.Cathy, followed by two men, came to give us the news. They chose my sister and myself, it was a dream come true!

 My sister and myself finally gathered all of our things, as we made it to the door one of the other children glared at us. Her name was Amber, she has been bullying us for as long as I could remember. Before we left she hissed "They'll come back for me, and I will get you!" I ignored her, but the taller of the men would have none of it. He sternly told her "We will not adopt no nasty brat like you." He said it so quietly Ms.Cathy didn't hear, she looked taken aback at these words.

 I noticed that the other man was holding back laughter, this caused me the need to do the same. So far I was loving my new family... I just hope it will last. We finally left the wretched building and into their car. On the way to our new home we made small talk, my sister of course was a chatter box. The taller of the men stopped the car at the edge of a forest. I wandered where the home was, still I did not freak out, I knew if I needed to get a away I could, and my sister knew she could trust me.

 "Please don't freak out but we need to teleport the rest of the way home" the taller of the men told us. I was confused at first until he explained he had this special power. I understood, having my own special abilities. I didn't know how we were gonna do it, until suddenly, I felt what felt like tentacles wrap around my waist.

 Before I could do anything we were home, and I was free of the tentacles. The house, or should I say mansion was beautiful and had an antique look to it. "Before we enter the home, we need to tell you who we are" the taller man said. "We are the creepypastas, this is not our true form. He said this as he transformed into a tall faceless man, we wore a business suit and had tentacles as I felt around my waist. Not only this but he was whiter than snow.

 The shorter man changed too. His hair was brown, but his face was covered by a mask. The mask was a dark shade of blue, there was liquid running out of the eye mask holes. He was also wearing a black jacket, with black jeans. I was taken aback at first but the out of the ordinary was not new to my sister or myself.

The taller man introduced himself as Slenderman and the other was Eyeless Jack, or E.J. for short. "Now it is time for us to show you our true form" Elizabeth says in a serious tone. As she says that Elizabeth and myself transform. Beautiful black and white wings emerge from our backs, oh how good it felt to let our wings breathe! At this Slenderman and E.J. seemed to be taken aback.

 "You aren't humans" Slenderman asks in surprise.
