Chapter 1: Amnesia

??? POV

I wake up feeling drowsy. Where am I? Looking around, I saw that I was in a forest. I wonder how I got here. Why am I here in the first place? Something tells me that I have a sister but when I keep trying to remember who, my headache keeps getting worst.

I looked around to find her but no trail or path is visible for me to know where she went. Maybe she's looking for me or maybe she's looking for food while we got lost in the woods.

I saw a farm nearby and headed towards it, hoping to find someone for help. I peak through the window and saw empty space and dust covering the place. I went to the back and saw animals roaming around. Where's the owner of this place if there are animals here? Strange.

I decided to head toward the woods and go to the other direction to find the other side of the woods. I wonder where are my families or how I got here, did we get attacked by something and kidnap my sister while I got knocked out cold? Hopefully not.

When I found the end of the woods, there was an archway, written above it was Camp Half-Blood. "Camp Half-Blood? What is this place? Hopefully I can find some help and at least some friendly faces..." Then suddenly, my head throb so badly that I almost fell unconscious, realizing that a memory just surface into my mind. It was blurry, but there was a girl's voice trying to call out to someone.

Then the memory was gone. When my vision cleared, I was kneeling down looking at the ground. Then I heard a roar from the distance, looking around to find the source but lucky there was no one nearby. I looked at the archway again and when I read the words on the archway, it arranged itself into Greek letters... "What the...? Was it written in Greek letters all this time? But I didn't even study reading Greek..." I heard the roar again, this time closer, ignoring the pain in my head, I run through the archway finding a place to stay.

When I passed the archway, I realized that I was on top of a hill. Looking around, there was a forty feet tall statue nearby. The statue looks like a lady wearing robes, looking intently at the camp. The view here is beautiful. Sunset was starting, giving the camp a peaceful glow. There's strawberry field, houses or cottages, lava wall?... is this even a camp? I decided to go down the hill then realized that no one is in sight.

"Where is everyone??" I noticed the sky was turning dark so I decided to take a rest in some place where no one can see me just to be safe so when I wake up, I wont find myself in a dungeon, hanging on chains. Shuddering at the thought of it, I decided to sleep near the strawberry fields.

(2 HOURS LATER)

I woke up from the sound of a horn. Rubbing my eyes, I decided to peak through the strawberry plants and look around. There were campers roaming around, maybe they were just sleeping in the cottages. (That's what I decided to call it.) I noticed that everyone was heading toward a pavilion.

Trying to wonder why when suddenly I smell food coming from inside the pavilion. My stomach growled from hunger, telling me to go to the pavilion to get something to eat. I followed the last group of campers inside. I sneak behind a statue and look around. There's a lot of campers going to the front for the burning pot... or something whatever it is.
"Hmm... I wonder why..." I must have said it a bit loud because one guy nearby looked around cautiously. Lucky for me, his friends called out to him so he decided to find the source of the voice later. I sigh in relief, then continued to looked at the campers in front, noticing that they throw there food into the fire, is it because a kind of tradition they do? or something like an offering to someone... I shook my head and sneaked outside without being notice.

I notice an amphitheater nearby and go towards the back of it, hoping that no one would notice me. My stomach keep growling, I wanted food so badly but I will have to let them all out of the pavilion first before I get food.

To stop my stomach from growling, I decided to take a nap and hope that no one will find me since I'm in an open space.

(??? SLEEPING)

Its the first time I have a dream. Everything is blurry but now I can hear her voice.

"???! Go and hide before they see us!!" she said. ??? said "But sis., I'm not gonna leave you alone here by yourself!!". She ran towards me and hugged me tight, then she said "Don't forget what I said, if you lost your memory don't forget me as your sister and don't forget that your a half blood, do you understand?" looking at me intently "Yes sis I wont forget you" ??? kid version said looking confused as to why would her sister say that he will forget her.

She ran towards a monster and tried to stop it, she shouted "Go get out of here and don't come back!!!" Sobbing, ??? run toward the woods and the dream blank out.

End of dream

I sit up so fast that I hit my head on the amphitheater wall. I almost yelp but immediately covered my mouth. Everyone on the amphitheater quieted down then whispered to each other, asking what was that sound while some standing up getting out there sword.

I crouch and headed toward the hill hoping no one would notice me. But of course the fates hate me, wait fates... where did I heard that? When I was a bit far away, someone shouted " Hey!! Who are you?!".

I looked back and saw that everyone was looking at me. They all got eye wide when they saw my face. I looked at them confused and scared when a guy with blond hair and blue eyes run towards me, calling out to me "Nico!!! Your alive!!!"

I didn't know why he called me Nico since I don't know my name but I just run toward the hill and saw a pine tree glowing with a gold carpet on one of its branch. Looking at it with curiosity, I heard the guy's voice again so I have no choice but to run again, this time I bumped into something.

What I didn't realize is that it was dragon looking at me with its big red eyes. I almost let out a scream but covered my mouth immediately and run to the other direction and hide behind a tree.

I heard everyone calling "Nico!! Where are you?!!" over and over again. The dragon sneak up on me at the side of the tree so I run the other side but bumped into someone and we fall to the ground. Everyone notice us and run towards us. When my vision cleared, I saw that I bumped into the guy earlier. He looked at me surprised, then when I noticed I was on top of him, I moved to the side lying down, this time not even wanting to run because I'm tired.

One blond hair girl came to the front of the crowd and asked "Where have you been all this time? We all thought your dead!!" I decided to ignore them since I don't trust any of them yet and closed my eyes, hoping this was just another dream.

When nothing happened, I sat up, facing the girl and asked her "Who are you or any of you?" looking at her intently, not showing any fear. One guy with sea green eyes stand beside the girl and asked me, looking a bit sad "Don't you remember at least one of us here or any distant memory?"

I shook my head and said to them "I only remember my sister but I don't know her name... do you know my sister's name?" I asked, trying to see if I can trust them but at the same time scared of what they could do to me with their sword.

Everyone whispered to each other, some looking at me when a man on a horse came... wait its not a man on a horse... its literally his body like a... like a... a centaur?... since when did I know that?
