Some say it's painful to wait for someone. Some say it's painful to forget someone. But the worst pain comes when you don't know whether to wait or forget.
"How did I never notice that I hadn't reached my full potential?" Ra asked as she paced the cabin floor after Kai had unlocked the rest of her powers.
"Athena is a powerful Goddess, she had her reasons, but now that you're powers are fully unlocked you need to ask her who your father really is. It will allow you to fully understand your powers" Kai advised her best friend.
"When are we going home? I know that the Gods can't come here so I can't talk to Athena until then" Ra spoke.
"You were the last person that I unlocked powers for and it should only take you about a week to fully have control of your powers so two weeks" Kai answered.
"Okay, that works. How has everything been going with the world leaders and the leaders of the other realms?" Ranae asked turning towards her best friend.
"Everything is going good. They have all agreed that when we return I am to be crowned and I will take over my position of power, but I have told them that I want them to remain in power. I do not wish to change everything that everyone has come to know because I am the most powerful being in existence. I will advise them when they need it and step in if I must, but my job is to protect them to the best of my ability" Kai replied as she got up to change.
"Good. What are you doing?" Ra asked noticing Kai pulling out a nice dress and heels.
"I have a meeting with some hunters in about an hour. They have been fighting a fight that we did for a long time, but they are ill-equipped for the job and I want to make sure they know what is going to be happening in this world. I am considering bringing them into the team as well if my suspicions are correct" Kai replied stripping out of her catsuit that she used while training everyone.
"What is your suspicion?" Ra asked.
"Their father and mother were powerful people, but their powers were locked away. I have heard rumors that Sam has visions, but besides that, I have no clue. I just have a feeling that they have powers that they don't realize are there" Kai spoke slipping into the tight red dress.
"Well for as long as I have known you, you have never been wrong. Are you sure you should wear that? You look like you're going on a date with Steve instead of looking like a queen" Ra commented as Kailani started doing her hair.
"I'm not a queen yet. I can look like a normal human being, Ra" Kai laughed.
"You may have not been crowned yet, but you are a queen, you're The Queen. You command attention the second you walk into a room, everyone listens to you even if your rank is below theirs. You need to start dressing for who you really are and not who you used to be" Ranae spoke truthfully.
"Fine, pick something out for me" Kailani sighed using magic to straighten her hair the rest of the way.
Ranae walked into the huge walk-in closet that Kailani and Steve shared and headed straight for Kai's longer gowns. Towards the back, Ranae saw a tight white gown with red on the hem. She pulled it out along with Kailani's red stilettos. As she brought it out Kai looked at her with a weird expression.
