I woke up on a soft plush pillow on a soft warm bed when I first realized it. It was the first day of 8th grade! I Put on a blue polo shirt with a grey jacket and a red and white striped tie with a grey skirt.

All summer I was waiting for a fresh new start from a whole different school. As I slowly walk down the stairs, I make a checklist in my head, so I don't forget anything. "Sweetie, you are gonna be late for school!"My mom says. "Sorry mom! I am just running a checklist in my head!" I shout back, from upstairs. I race down the stairs and head for the door while almost forgetting my backpack. I say goodbye to my mother and head out. I run to the stop sign and take out my phone and turn on my favorite song.
While the song plays I start singing non-stop. A few minutes pass and I see the bus coming around the corner, not knowing someone was sprinting towards me. She wore a black school jacket and a white polo shirt with a blue tie and a regular plain skirt. She had green eyes that were really dark and amber colored hair.

The bus stopped at my stop sign and as I walked into the bus, the girl pushed me out of the way and I fell and scratched my knee on the concrete. As I looked up to yell at her, she turned around and gave me a smirk. She said, " Oh, I am sorry. I didn't see you there. Are you new?." In a shy voice I replied a small "yes." then she went on with her day and turned around like nothing happened. I got off of the ground and started climbing up the steps. As I turned to face everyone in the bus, the bus driver said "Hi and welcome." stuff like that.
As the bus pulls into the bus line for the school, I got confronted by a girl with red hair and brown eyes. Her hair had a bow in it and her face was caked with make-up. She wore a flowery jacket and slightly ripped jeans. "Hi, I guess you are new here." She said with a smirk. "Uh, Y-yea. I am new here." I said, shyly. "Just so you don't get any ideas, I am the most popular person in the school so, don't even bother trying to be pretty." She said, tossing her hair like some kind of trophy. "Oh, really? The only thing "pretty" about you, is your hair." I say, getting up and walking towards the doors of the bus.

As I opened a door to the school hallway, I got pushed to the wall. I looked up to see who it was and found out it was the same girl on the bus. The look in her eyes was the scariest thing I have ever seen in my life, I could almost see a fire starting to happen in her eyes. "Nobody...talks...to...me...THAT WAY!" She screamed in my ear. I was about to push her away from me when, another girl pushed her aside. "Sabrina! Leave her alone!" She said. "Get out of my way, Amanda!" Sabrina said, pushing Amanda out of her way. I saw it was my chance to get out of there, so I took off to the front desk. I could hear Sabrina scream "You idiot!" to Amanda, when I closed the door to the office.
