Omar lied on his bed while playing video games. Summer had just started and he felt relieved. The last couple weeks of school had been stressful. He stared intently at the screen as he played. He missed seeing his friends regularly. Losing the game, he got up from his bed and walked to the kitchen. Omar opened the fridge only to close it again. He got a water bottle and walked back to his room. He sat down on his bed and picked up his phone, checking the notifications as he drank water.
Delbert: wanna go skating later?
Omar thought for a bit before replying back,
Omar: sure I'll meet you at the park in a bit
He turned off his phone and decided to take a shower.
*time skip*
Locking his front door and checking that it was locked, he got on his skateboard and made his way to the park. He didn't live far from it, as he got there quickly. Once there he stopped and looked around for Delbert and saw him sitting at the bleachers and made his way up to him.
