Author's note: this poem is actually humorous opposed to it's depressing title so don't be discouraged, read on! ^w^
My head is slowly turning
And my insides are burning
I have the urge to make a joke
That might make some choke
When they hear that innocent old me
Is joking about cancer.
"Why Kat? Where the hell did that come from?" They may ask
I simply smile at explaining their task
"Well you see friends all around,
I have been corrupted; low as the ground
Hanging around someone too long and starting to say the things they say
Cause I admire them and care for them in a lot of ways.
But corrupted I am by the strange sense of humor that so enraptured me."
