Chapter 1

The beeping sound of the monitor, her hearts decreasing beat was the only thing my hearing absorbed.My hands and brain were working as I had been trained relentlessly in overtime to save her, but nothing not a thing I did

seemed to stop her rapidly decreasing heart rate. My body was numb as the one constant beep filled the ER. We tried everything to bring the life back to this frail little still frame. But we were overpowered by her silence.

Her monitor was switched off as they covered her over. I walked out of the room and down the hall until I couldn't take it any more and the tears spilled over as the realization sunk in.

I was completely oblivious to the surroundings of the hospital as my back hit the wall and I slid down it till I reaches the cool floor. Memorise and images flooded my brain and my heart was torn in to a gaping hall threatening to devour me. My courage, my love, my happiness, my heart, my everything that was my little girl was gone.
