High School Breakup

Chapter 1:

Mitch was feeling down. Em broke up with him just to go out with Scott. He was looking at a picture of him and Em at the school dance, looking very 'professional' as they would say. Zoe is his bestest 'girl-friend' (space in between girl and friend) so not in a lovey dovey way, like in a friend way, you know what I mean.

Anyway, back to the story, Zoe had feelings for Mitch but he doesn't know about that. Him and Zoe were best friends and swore if they were single in later life, they would date each other, if they liked each other. All they had to do was to stay single but Mitch couldn't because all the girls in his year fall in love with him and every single month, he goes with a different girl. First, in may, it was Vanessa, next month, it was Selena, the next month after that, it was Demi, after that, it was Scott (I know, a boy!) and now in September, it was now Em. So, it was really hard for Mitch to stay single and i mean really hard!

2nd October. The start of a brand new month. Mitch was ready. Ready for... Oh yeah. He totally forgot about staying single. He went to school on his skateboard and went to his locker to keep it in until after 5th lesson, which was Drama where Em was. He had to work with her for a Drama exam, which they have to do Romeo and Juliet and it was the kissing scene. Of course everyone thought they were together, but obviously they weren't. He thought, 'If I kiss Em, everyone, especially Zoe, will think that we are together.'

Mitch's P.O.V

I went to talk to Em about Drama and she said, "Yeah, I know everyone will think we are together. That's my plan."

"What plan?"

"If everyone thinks we are 'together', we should say that we're not! See?"

"No, I don't get any of this!" I shook my head with confusion and pulled a puzzled facial expression...
