Chapter One

Chapter One:

The First Encounter!

        I was walking down the street, ear buds in and jammin out to my favorite rock song. I was heading to my grandma's and great grandpa's house when a car pulled out as I was walking across the street. It was just a few inches away from me when a man jumped on me.

The car screeched to a stop. I pushed the man of me and stood up. " Oi! What the hell was that? What were you thinking stupid man!" I brushed off some of the dirt on me and held out my hand. " Thanks mate." I said as the man who saved my life shook my hand. " How can I every repay you?" I asked. I looked up at the man. He looked so familiar but I couldn't place it anywhere. " Well I could use a hot meal." He simply said.

" Well I'm going to my Gran's and Gramp's I'm sure they won't mind!" I smiled. " Thanks!" He gave me a goofy smile. " You seem very familiar.." I trailed. He just shook his head. " Everybody says that." He stated. We carried on about nonsense things on the way to Grans. We talked about the weather or the way the bird chirp or about time and space.

" Ha ha! You've got to be kidding me right?" I asked the man. " No it really happened!" He laughed as I took out my keys for Grans house and walk in. " Gran i'm here!" " Iris!" The man looked at me and smiled. " Iris. I like that name." I smiled back signaling a thank you. Gran walked through the door and stopped and stared at the man. " Gran this is... Whats you name i never got it?"

He smiled as my grandpa walked in. " I'm the Doctor!" I was confused then it hit me why he was so familiar. " Mom.." I said. " Doctor is that really you?" Gramps asked. The Doctor shook his head for yes. I smiled at the sight of my grandpa. I've never seen him this happy before in my life. Gran on the other hand looked like she was going to kill him.

" Why are you here?" She asked him. " Well I saved Iris' life and she asked what she could do to repay me and I told her i could you a hot meal and then she said that you guys wouldn't mind. I'm sorry I'll leave if you want me too. "Yes!" Gran said. " No!" Me and gramps yelled. " Well What is it?" He asked..
