(basic bitch here) chapter 1

Dave sat with his arm around his boyfriend as they cuddled on the couch, watching one of Karkat's romcoms. 'Damn, he's adorable', Dave thought to himself as he kissed his boyfriends forehead lovingly. When the movie had ended, Karkat had fallen asleep. Dave picked him up bridal style and carried him into their bedroom. He set Karkat down on their bed and tucked him in. Dave then got into bed with Karkat as he woke up.
"Sorry, Kitkat, didn't mean to wake you up." Karkat yawned and replied
"it's fine, Dave." Dave smiled at him, and took off his shades. Karkat loved when Dave did that. His eyes always made Karkat melt.
"Go back to sleep, kitten", Dave whispered.
"I'm not really tired anymore." He said back.
"Oh, well what do you wanna do?", Dave asked. Although it was past midnight, they were both wide awake, well now they were.
"It doesn't matter. Anything you want", Karkat replied. Dave kissed Karkat sweetly, Karkat squeaked then melted into it, like he always does, when Dave catches him off guard. Dave touched one of Karkat's horns, causing him to moan into the kiss.
"You're an asshole", Karkat said when he pulled away.
"I know, but you still love me", Dave said and smirked at him.
"I guess...", Karkat replied.
"What? So you don't love me?" Dave said still smirking.
"I never said that, douchebag..." Karkat whispered.
"Awww babe~", Dave said and hugged Karkat.
"Stooop. And don't call me 'babe'" Karkat said sounding annoyed.
"But you like it~" Dave purred.
"No, I don't!!", Karkat said sounding defensive.
"Yeah, ya do." Dave said smirking.
"If I liked it, why would I be like 'fuck you' every time you said it?" Dave just laughed at him and kissed his cheek. "You're so cute, babe"
"Shut the fuck up, Dave!" Karkat said and blushed like crazy.
"What I can't compliment my EXTREMELY attractive boyfriend?"
"No, Dave, you can't." Karkat answered and pouted. Dave found that adorable and laughed quietly.
"Come on Kitkat, you know you're the cutest thing ever"
"Nope. I know for a fact I'm not" Karkat said and looked up at Dave. He was really short compared to Dave, since he was only 5'4 and Dave was 6'0.
"How is it possible for you to say you're not cute?" Dave asked.
"Because I'm not" Karkat stated and looked away shyly.
"Aw babe!" Dave said, noticing Karkat was embarrassed. "You really are adorable" Dave said softly.
"Im really not..." Karkat said sounding disappointed.
"Karkat, why don't you love yourself?" Dave asked. He hated that Karkat didn't like himself. It hurt him terribly.
"There's nothing to like about myself...I don't know why you haven't left me yet, Dave" Karkat whispered. They'd been together for 7 months, and it was the happiest months of Karkat's life.
"You're the best person I've ever met, Karkat. I love you so so much, and there's no way in fucking hell Im ever going to let you go." Dave said sounding completely serious.
"...I love you too..." Karkat whispered, looking up at Dave. Dave smiled and kissed Karkat lovingly. Karkat smiled into the kiss and put his arms around Dave's neck, pulling the blonde closer. Dave wrapped his arms around Karkat's waist holding him close. Dave pulled away and rested his forehead on Karkat's. "I love you, so fucking much, Karkles."
Karkat smiled. "I love you too, Dave." Dave smiled and kissed his cheek. He laid back down, with Karkat on his side again. Karkat's arms wrapped around Dave's waist, while Dave's arm was around his shoulders. They laid comfortably watching Criminal Minds, both of them having man crushes on Morgan and falling asleep, knowing they would die happy like this.
