REVOLTING RHYME – Sleeping Beauty
When this little baby was born
The clothes she wore did not look worn
A magical lady came to say
That she will die on her 16th birthday
Some kind fairies as nice as they were
Agreed to take good care of her
16 years passed and she was told
Because she was getting oh so bold
Her life would end unless she found
Her own true love to break the bound
Alas, it was too late for her
To find the love to be her cure
Her finger lay upon the pin
Of the spinning wheel that drew her in
She slowly fell toward the floor
And split her head along the door
Her skull was cracked, the brain exposed
The chance for true loves kiss was closed
The fairies took her up to bed
Where she lay, gone and dead
And after so long of moving not
Her bones began to break and rot
And came along a charming prince
Who travelled far to this province
He heard about a gorgeous girl
Who made his thoughts spin and whirl
The prince found out that she had died
So he took all her things for him to hide
He stole from her, oh yes he did
And all her jewels is what he hid
No one knew and never saw
The girl's jewels or her body raw
Soon she was nothing but ash and bone
Fully dead and all alone
About her death, no one knew
Because she ended up as stew!
