Never give up

Chapter 1

One morning of May, 2010 Alex was told by her parents that they were moving in two weeks. They were going to be leaving three days after school got out, on June 1, 2010. Alex didn't want to leave all of her friends and family behind, she cried for two weeks straight none stop. Alex has two brothers one older and one younger, the eldest one name is Joseph and the youngest is Riley. Joseph and Riley didn't care to much about leaving or so I thought, they never really said anything about it to Alex at least. Alex's parents are Elijah and Payton, they have been married for a very long time about 18 years already. They were very happy together Payton didn't want to leave all of her family at all she didn't like that idea, but she went with it for her kids and so she could be with her amazing husband forever. It took them 10 hours and 50 minutes to get to, Orlando, Florida from Nashville Tennessee. When they first got there they were all very excited to see what all was in Florida, Elijah had already been to Orlando a bunch of times because of his work. Elijah travels for a living but he was very excited to show his family around Florida, and take them to the Beach, Disney World, Universal Studios, etc. Alex was very excited to go to the beach and go sight seeing with her awesome family, she wanted to go right away but she had to go help unload the moving truck. When Alex and her family reached the destination of their house she was wry excited to see what her new room was like, the house was huge 5 bedroom house, 3 bathrooms, a built in pool, two living rooms, and a basement. It was like a dream come true for Payton, Alex was so excited to see her new room it was huge and her dad had someone paint it blue for her, army green for Riley, and just plain old tan Joseph. Alex loves the color blue, Riley loves army green well any green in general, and Joseph doesn't have a favorite color one minute it will be orange and the next it will be green.  The rest of the house was just tan one bathroom was mint green and brown, one was tan, and one is batman. Alex loves batman so she got a batman bathroom, tan was for the boys, and the mint green and brown bathroom was for Alex's mom and dad. Well anyone could use any bathroom they wanted, there's no assigned bathroom. Alex's family was all big into fishing, hunting, and drawing Alex has never really shot a real gun yet. Neither has her mom also, one of these days Alex will learn how to shoot and go hunting with her family. Elijah tools his family all over Florida, they even had to go to New Mexico one weekend and they found the heart of a volcano. They took pictures, explored it, took some lava rocks as a souvenir.
Elijah would always quiz Alex and Riley on history, those three were very good at history that's their favorite subject in school. It's been three months since Alex and her family had moved to Florida, and school was about to start in a couple of days. Alex and her brothers were very nervous about going to a new school, meeting new friends, getting used to being called the kid. Joseph was going into 10th grade, Alex into 8th grade, and Riley was going into 6th grade. Alex was good at making new friends one her first day of school, Alex made a friend named Rose. Which that was good and, a couple weeks after school started Alex and her brothers all had new best friends. Alex started writing in a notebook about what she felt, how school went, what was going on in life but after she was done writing she would throw away the papers that had writing on. By the end of the school year all three of the kids had a lot friends. At first it was hard for all of them, but them it got easier for them.
