Not that old

"What's she staring at Jim" said Alice's mother Mabel. "Probably a bug" "oh ok". The couple had just finished decorating their new house. The parents were very proud of how the crib turned out to acknowledge the shadow above the baby girl. Mabel went down stairs to make dinner ( which was ordering a pizza ) and Jim followed after her. Leaving little Alice alone. The shadow had moved from above Alice to just by her. This seemed to entertain the small child. The shadow had moved a bit more before leaving. "Oh come on baby waby " cooed the father. " I forgot your not that old so you cant walk just yet " he added before scooping up the baby.

Now that Alice was a four years old she could walk and say most words ( she couldn't say bear it more sounded like beer ). Both parents worked out of town most weeks so they hired a nanny. This was their third nanny, others would quit and say their child was acting weird or she put off a negative vibe. They didn't find anything weird about their child. "Miss Bell Light wants to tell you something" said Alice. "Who's Light is that your imaginary friend?" "No Light's right over there" she pointed to the stairs. Miss Bell having worked with children in the past knew kids created the silliest things in their head. " Oh well ok what would Light like to say" "Light thinks you should leave and stay away from me" adding a " I'm sorry she doesn't like you". "How about you and Light go and play and oi'll make some food" she said pretending like she didn't hear the little girl. "Ok" sighed Alice walking up stairs to her room. "Cookie" called Alice "You wanna play dolls with me?""Please Light and Sarah don't like dolls" Miss Bell over heard but again shrugged it off and continued making soup.
