Angel Of Darkness

Chapter 2

After a long argument between my mother, Daphne's (miss popular) father and the principal, my mom decided that it would be best if I moved school. Leaving my current school was no problem but finding a new one was tough. Whenever my mom mentioned my full name to anyone they all just hung up. Well all except one. It was called Destiny High. It was a school for kids with unique gifts such as myself. They were very excited to have me in their school. They got extremely excited when we mentioned my powers. Fortunately for me it wasn't to far. Unfortunately it was a boarding school. I didn't mind it that much. I asked my parents something before I departed for Destiny High.
"Mom, dad. Are you mad at me? You know for the incidents at school? " My parents came back with an answer that I wasn't expecting." Not at all! Why would we be mad at you? Your insane side isn't an ability that's in your control. Why would we be mad at you for something that wasn't in your control?" they said. I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Then the car that was going to drop me off at school arrived. I paused to say goodbye to my parents whilst the driver loaded my luggage into the car. I then climbed into the car and we started a 30 minute drive. Yes that's right 30 minutes. Apparently my parents didn't think I could carry my own luggage. But the school itself was huge! It started out as a very grand big gate with iron bars. And the letters "D" and "H". Then there is just this huge courtyard with a massive fountain in the centre. And the school was like a palace! It was massive! And everywhere I saw kids just like me. The first I remember seeing was a lilac cat with golden eyes. She was perched on the edge of the fountain which seemed to be I don't know evaporating (Sound like Blaze anyone?). She then fell into the fountain as two almost identical hedgehogs raced passed her and were yelling at each other. Well at least she would've fallen in had I not swooped down wings spread catching her just before she hit the water. I then set her down onto a dry patch of grass. Where she seemed almost in shock. "Thank you a lot" she said sounding grateful and irritated at the same time. She then called out to the blue hedgehog,"Hey Sonic watch where you're going next time!", which was then followed up by a smirk from the other hedgehog. "Same goes for you Scourge" she hissed back. Then he pouted a lot. "Now that that's out the way, hi I'm Blaze, Blaze the cat," she said in a more cheery tone,"and you are?" I was ready to answer with my name but I got stuck on my breed. "Platinum, Platinum Moonstreak the... Um... Hedge... Raven. I dunno what I am breed wise." Blaze shrugged in a sort of comforting way. "Well it's better to say that you don't know than pretending to be something you're not. I can see you definitely look like a hedgehog but the unmissable wings kind of makes you wonder." I was thinking wow she really has some sort of problem with my wings. That is until she said this, "Shall I show you to reception where you get your dorm room. You will obviously be sharing with at least one other person. I will be happy to show you there if you want."
