My body had been injured, my skin hurt, and my leg wounded.
Tolerating the enormous pain, I used the full power of my two tied hands to loosen the ropes. I had failed and given up before two minutes passed. Next I tried with my legs. I forced them to separate from each other so that I could slide my legs out through the gap. As anticipated, I failed again.
Just before all hope of escape was all lost, I had seen a beam of light entering from the window. Intuition told me that I had to insist for a few more minutes on struggling with the ropes. And I did.
After about ten exhausting minutes, I succeeded in freeing myself. David was asleep, luckily. I was so painful that I had to walk slowly towards the exit. He was still not sober when I was at the exit. I went out and gained freedom again. Of course, I phoned the police, and he was arrested soon later.

Immediately I ran to Connie's home at full speed. I knocked on her door, which she opened in just a few seconds.
I came into her view, and she immediately hopped out of the door and hugged me, giving me warmth, care and love. She tightened her grasp on my clothes. She must have been very worried about my safety, so I tapped on her back to calm her down and relieve her.
She said, "George! Do you know how much I was worried about you?" Tears ran down her face swiftly.
I told her not to worry and explained everything to her.
