Forbidden love

It's hard to believe that everything happens for a reason, everything that moves in this world has a meaning. Our minds are capable of traveling to the valley of the unknown and beyond what has been established by our traditional society, which in turns judges and condemns without giving us the time or the rights to defend ourselves, especially if we fall in love with the wrong person or with one we are not suppose to.

One day we start a friendship without imagining how much it would mean to us. At first, it was just routine, an exchange of interests and ideas, trivial conversation, in short an open and sincere friendship which in no way resembled a romantic relationship.

The daily contact, the small details, some shared interests were turning the friendship into something different. Staring into each others eyes, an accidental touch of the hands, butterflies in the stomach at the possibility of seeing each other and blood racing through your veins at more than a thousand miles per second were very dangerous signs of things to come.

But what is happening? What am I feeling?

This is a sad scenario, we feel depressed, confused, frustrated and drowned in self pity. What are we doing? Who are you kidding? Are we willing to risk everything for a relationship without future? Do you want to risk it all for a one night stand just to get an adrenaline rush? There are lots of questions and not many positive answers.

Love is a beautiful thing and only a few are fortunate enough to experience it. why don't we give ourselves that opportunity? Love is not sought it just shows up. But this love is different, it does not fit into the mold that society has imposed on us, therefore it is not natural. You feel ashamed for being who you are and feeling what you feel but in the end you realize that you found love, pure and honest, and who cares if this love come in the shape of someone of your own sex.
