Tears stream down my face as I shout "Sorry" to the shore, releasing all the emotions that were building up.
I remember the time I touched your soft, silky face, only to lose that face when he saw me sprawled on the bed with another man.
I am guilty of this crime and to that, I shout "Sorry" to the other shore which represented you. A shore that was no longer part of the shore i was standing on.
Collapsing on the sand, tears blinding me, I clutched the owl pendant that you gave me. The last gift ever given from you before you left to the other shore.
I held the pendant tightly in my palm,afraid to lose it.
As I cry, I could feel the tide coming in,ticking my toes.
My tears fell to my shirt, blossoming to become a white lily.
"Lily?"
I heard a voice call out my name. I looked up, tears still blinding me, I saw him.
He was standing in the middle of the sea.
"Joseph?" I cried.
Immediately I got up and splashed into the sea.
"Joseph!" I cried.
As I splashed deeper into the sea, I realised I was sinking due to the very fact I didn't know how to swim.
But I could care less.
For Joseph, my lover was here.
But than I blinked to see Joseph wasn't there.
"Joseph?" I called out, choking on the sea water I was swallowing as I tried to keep my head up.
But he wasn't there.
My hopes were gone.
And so was my life.
