As Gro-thel stood in the midst of the battle, it was almost as if time slowed down. As arrows pierced the air bolting past him he looked his brother in his single eye. "Barameir! We are getting slaughtered. Call our men back and regroup!" he bellowed. Barameir signaled the sound of the trumpets to call his forces back. "Retreat!! Fall back!" he called out to his men as one of the arrows splits through his armor and breaks his kneecap causing him to crash to the ground. Echos filled the air as the shockwave blew part of his men back. Gro-thel runs to the aid of his fallin brother. He looked at Barameir's wound. "I can save you brother!". Barameir looked up at his brother weakly and gasped "no...this war is far more important then me surviving. Take this" Barameir reaches into his chestplate and grabs the necklace that their father gave him, puts it in Gro-thel's hand and says "When father gave this amulet to me, he told me to do everything" Barameir coughs "everything you can to uphold our kingdom. Keep our legacy strong son" He looks back up at Gro-thel, "Take it, your the next of kin, make sure that our family name and triumph is sung throughout history. Be the son that I never wa..." Barameir lets out his last breath. Gro-thel looks at the amulet, clutches it in his hand with his sword, stands up and stares at the enemy. "YOU, YOU HAVE DONE THIS! YOU WILL PAY!" He summons all his might and charges at the orc leader Bal-uk, cutting down any orc that gets in his way. One by one they fall, as he charges towards his imminent death his soldiers notice him and start charging at the enemy, once again with arrows piercing through the air, skulls being bashed in for that one, final, push.
