Have Faith

Prologue

The world was the same yet people weren't. Some people are special. Some had amazing gifts. Gifts that could change the world. But some don't know they have gifts. Some appear out of thin air, while some have had them since birth. Maybe a life changing event happened and they were gifted.
That is what happened to Rose Lilian Jane. It was December 24, 2010, her parents Karen and John and her were picking up her little brother Luke from a friends house. Rose was the oldest being 15 didn't want to go out but her parents dragged her along.
It was a dark and stormy night, snow was falling hard and you could barely see outside. The roads were icy and slick. They were driving slowly, carefully to avoid hitting anything. Their mom tried to cheer everyone up but it wasn't working. They were a few blocks away from their home when a car came from nowhere and hit their car head on. The car flipped multiple times as it skidded against the ice. No one heard the crash, heard Roses screams for help as she cradled her dying 10 year old brother in her arms. She was upside down, her seatbelt stuck. Her left leg was twisted in a award position, her head covered in blood as the glass cut into her head. She held her brother as she cried and pleaded for help but no one came. That wasn't the worst though, the worst was the silence. The unnerving silence that steeped into her mind.
Then it was the coldness. She shivered as her lips turned blue and fingers grew numb. She was slowing losing hope that no one was coming. But right as she was about to lose hope the snow stopped and a light, bright light fell on the car. It hit Rose and warmed her, she felt like she was getting better, felt her leg healing rapidly and the blood return to her head. She felt amazing for the first time in the last day. She suddenly didn't feel scared anymore, she felt hope. And then suddenly she heard sirens and began yelling for help until she passed out.
The firemen came and found her clutching her brother for dear life. The managed to get her out and was taken to the hospital. She was the only survivor, special. She should have died that night hut something healed her. Some people say luck, some say magic and some say God's way but no one knows why. No one knew that their was also 3 others accidents that night that would change their life's for better or for worse.
Rose now lives in an abusive home with her mothers brother and his wife. She is 18 and only she knows why she survived. She discovered something that would change her life. Somehow, someway she was gifted with the ability to run at fast speeds. She never could do anything before the accident and now she could run as though she was born to do it. What happens when she goes to the store and runs into 3 people like her. Will they be able to get her out of the abusive home and what happens when they decide to explore the world.
