My Nightmare

I wake up every day to live a nightmare.

My life,

I fight the monsters at night, they crawl in my head and through my dreams

But when I wake up

They don't leave, they're still there you see.

They live in my head, not in my dreams.

They frighten me and make me scream.

They are not make believe

I wake up hoping they'll go away. They fill my head with negativity

You see they're the ones who tell me to die.

That I'm not good enough

That I will never be free
That If I die I might be
I lay awake, wondering when I will be free from them.

I live my day a lie they said you are meant to die.
I sit there scratching this blade across my thighs even on my wrists hoping to die
Hoping to get relief from these demons inside. Its the story of my life waking up wanting to die I live this nightmare called my life
