Saying Goodbye

    I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I groan to the reminder of today leaving my school but worst of all my best friend Matt we have been friends since what like since we where 3. The sound of my mom cooking downstairs distracts me from thinking so I decided to do my normal morning routine which consist of, taking a shower and getting dressed and today was pretty chilly out side because its November so I decided  to but on my ripped up jeaned skinny jeans with my black PINK sweater and black converse, then I put my hair in a side braid and put my favorite beanie and to top that all off I put a bit of makeup like concealer and a bit of mascara and a light pink lip-gloss and brushed my teeth.

    I went downstairs for breakfast and sat down in my usual spot and said good morning to my mom and Jeremy my dad wasn't in the room and I didn't even care because right now we aren't in talking terms I've been trying to ignore him since the words 'we are moving' came out of his mouth but he just doesn't seem to get that in his thick skull it was silent in the kitchen for a while till Jeremy broke it "Wow you actually tried looking good for once" he smirked and I rolled my eyes "Oh really because this is my everyday outfit thanks for noticing bro" I smirked back at him and he just crossed his arms. "Whose excited for the big day!" my dad looked at me and smirked he was trying to piss me off and god did it work... "Cant wait!" I said with a hint of sarcasm and rolled my eyes once my dad sat down I got up "I'm going to go now" I said I hate my dad and eating breakfast was the last thing I wanted to do "okay sweetie bye bye" "Bye mom BYE JEREMY!" "What abou-" I cut my dad off by slamming the door shut it actually felt good. I was smiling on my way to school and yes I do walk if that's what your thinking.

    As I reached my school doors I see Matt leaning against my locker smiling at me once he saw me and I smiled back. To be honest he is hot wait Elena stop it he's your best friend what am I thinking!  I slipped those thoughts out of my head once I reached Matt "Whoa you look nice El!" OK so me and Matt flirt sometimes but we keep it down a notch because we don't want to ruin our friend ship "Nah but you don't look to bad your self" I smiled at him and he smiled back and we hugged. I sat down at my set just in time for the bell to go off.

    My first couple periods went by fast and now it was time for lunch gosh I love lunch because its where I can talk to all my friends and because there's food I sat down at my usual spot and Matt and I have our own group of friends even though we are best friends we still hang out a lot and sit in the same lunch table although its weird being best friends with Matt because he's popular and just any girl would throw them selves to him. sluts   and he's a jock as I sit down at my spot at the table in front of Matt and he sits in his spot in front of me. "so your really moving" Matt asks me with a hint of sadness in his beautiful blue eyes "Yes Matt" I say as I sigh. Matt looks down and all of a sudden he's not acting himself "Hey Matt you alright?" I ask making sure he's okay "oh...um yeah El I'm fine" Matt sighs and looks down again "Matt seriously what the hell is wrong why are you acting so different?" I look at Matt and I can see his jaw tighten and his hands turn into fist "FOR FUCKING SAKES ELENA IM FINE!!!" I look at him as my face expression softens and I look around and everyone is staring and when I mean every one I mean everyone "Elena I'm so sor-" I cut matt off "Save it for later!"

    I got up and ran to the bathroom I locked the door and went to the mirror what the hell just happen "UGH" I moaned loudly tears came down my face and I slid down the wall and covered my face with the palm of my hand. I heard a knock at the door and shot up "erm Elena Y-You in here" I could tell it was Matt and he was upset I could here it in his voice "What the hell do you want Matt!" "Elena please let me in" I sighed and got up to unlock the door "What do you want" I said clearly I was annoyed "You" I furrowed my eye brows "oh...erm...I mean I want to apologize" I smiled because the last and first time we had a fight was when we where 6 and that was because he stole my juice box I started to giggle "What?" Matt looks confused "No n-nothing" he smiled at me "Your so beautiful even when you cry" I smiled "Awe I know" I smiled and he laughed after we where done hugging Matt pulled away and looked me in the eye and took the strands of my hair in front of my face and said "Elena I don't want you to leave me and no matter how much this hurts me I've been wanting to do this for a while" "Matt do wha-" And with that I felt his lips on mine and that meant I just had my first kiss with my best friend. But I pulled away and looked down "Class is about to start" and with that I walked off to class and what thinking about the kiss. Why did he kiss why me I mean when did he start liking me I thought when we flirted he was just pretending but no.

School was over and Matt offered me a ride home I said yes because I didn't want him to feel bad and plus he's my best friend and nothing more. I think it was awkwardly silent except for the radio going off about how cold it was right now I looked at Matt and he looked hurt and I felt so guilty. I couldn't believe I was about to say this "Matt?" "hmm" he hummed back I cleared my throat "That kiss meant nothing right" "I guess it was just a good bye kiss to m-my I mean well you" "you mean your best friend?" "Eh If that what you want to think then sure I guess" okay ouch that one hurt!  "what the hell is that supposed to mean" "seriously you actually saying this.. Elena that kiss meant something okay? it meant the world to me so please just drop it" I looked at him then he stopped the car in front of my house "WHAT!?" "damn you need to chill" I smiled at him and kept staring the a smirk appeared on his face then it happened I kissed him. actually more like a make out he grabbed my ass and but me on his lap I smiled threw the kiss and so did he. I tugged on his hair which made him groan then he sucked on my neck it was painful but at the same time felt good. We stopped before anything else went further "DAMN you so hot Elena" I gulped this was making me feel uncomfortable and Matt noticed it I quickly got off of him but he grabbed my wrist "Elena wait" I looked back at him "Thank you" "For what" ok I was confused " For being my best friend and having me be your first kiss. I blushed at his words and I looked at him "It was worth the wait" he smiled back I could feel tears fighting to get threw I tried to blink them away but it didn't work. "Matt?" "Yeah" I looked down then back up "I love you" Matt smiled "I love you too Elena" and with that I got out of the care and waved bye as he drove away and that was the last time I saw my best friend.
