demigod life!!!!

Hello my name is Janet and I am a demigod. I know it surprised me too. But don't let me get ahead of myself. So it was just a normal day at school. I had just finished my fifth period. School was almost over and I was so glad. But that's when my best friend Alex told me to come and meet him at the abandoned elementary school. I said ok because we always hang out there. So right as the bell rang I ran for the exit door in the east wing. I ran as fast as I could. About ten minutes later I finally got to lakeworth elementary school. So as I waited for Alex to come I played on the playground. It had a swing set, a few slide, and a couple jungle gyms. I was there for about a hour. I started to wonder why Alex wasn't here yet. But I didn't let it get to my head. So I just continued playing in the playground. Finally Alex showed up. I asked him why he was so late. He just said there was some traffic. I knew there wasn't any traffic on the backroad he always takes to get here. But I didn't feel like questioning him because. It was a little late and I wanted to play before I had to go home for dinner. But then Alex said something I was not accepting. He said that My mom wanted me to come home and bring Alex with me. Now you might be thinking why is that weird she just wants to meet my friends I should be exited. No that's not the case my mom doesn't really care what I do and who my friends are. She doesn't even listen to my stories about them. She just smiles and nodes. So I was a little worried. I had a million thoughts racing through my head. Like why did she want to see me and Alex. But me and Alex walked down the road until twenty minutes later we got to my house. My mom was sitting on the porch which was also unusual. She called me and Alex inside. She looked the most worried I have ever seen her. So me and Alex ran inside. My mom had remained standing and began to pace. Now may I remind you my mom is a very calm person. Like one of those people who see's a person who see's a shifty person on the subway and sits right next to them. So it was weird to see her that worried so I walked up to my mom and asked her what's wrong. She said sweetie I have to send you to a summer camp of sorts. I responded immediately it's not even summer. What are you talking about. Um ask Alex he kinda goes there. I turned to Alex and asked him what was going on. He said I am going to put the simply. Your a demigod and I am your mentor I watch after you to protect you from monsters. But now we have to go to camp half-blood. Cause tons of monster are now coming for you. So we need to go to camp. Now your mom has agreed to drive us but she will not be able to get into camp. So get in the car and lets get to camp. So here I am. Today was crazy but hopefully tomorrow won't be just as crazy.
