It had been so long since jane had found any clues to where Jeff was that she was getting impatient looking around the areas he had attacked just to find something or catch a glimpse of him. She had just been checking a hotel room after she saw him painting the windows with blood, but when she arrived he was gone. All there was in the room was a corpse a pool of blood and GO TO SLEEP written on the wall in blood dripping onto the floor. She walked out of the hotel room and saw him stood there staring at her as if he knew she was there from the beginning. "well well well" he says chuckling a little "I thought I'd see you here" he'd say twitching a little. " how the hell did you know I'd be here?" Jane exclaimed demanding an answer, "well" he mutters walking slowly towards her "I have my ways". "Just shut up and die you prick!" she shouted lunging herself at him slicing at his chest ripping through his hoodie and through his black t-shirt piercing his skin. Jeff looks down to notice a faint cut just enough for him to bleed, he puts his hand on the cut and moves his hand away licking the blood off slowly " look at that, looks like my old janey dosent know how to properly slice" he says mockingly. Jane then looks at his chest and then back at him, she felt strange, a way she hasn't felt about someone in a long time. "if I hadn't of had a hoodie on the cut would have been deeper hehe well I'd love to stay and chat but gotta run" he says running past her and out of a window. Jane runs over to the now smashed window and looks out to find that Jeff was nowhere to be seen, she then leans against a wall "why do I feel so weirdly about him now we're older...Oh God... No it couldn't possibly be that" she says standing up and walking out of the hotel around the back and into the woods were she presumed the Jeff must have ran off to.
She found footsteps in the mud leading to an old abandoned cabin, no windows or other exits apart from one door. She sees a light that was tinted red mutch like her old night light she had as a kid so it brought her comfort so she walked straight in without worrying about why the light was there. As soon as she walked in she saw him, standing and smiling knife raised up against his chest still bleeding. "heh knew you couldn't wait" he says dropping the knife to the floor and walking slowly towards jane.
Jane couldn't move, she was in some sort of trance staring at him. He walked towards her still slowly but surely pinning her to the wall before Whispering in her ear "I know how you feel, I'm the same actually I felt like this for a long time". Jane, shocked says "b-but you burned me, Y-you killed my parents and I've been hunting you ever since... Why?", "well I wanted you to chase me because I knew that you'd chase me...this was the plan all along" he says chuckling after. Jane relaxes a bit and says "oh well I guess it worked" before she hugs him gripping his back.
They didn't move for a while but Jeff moved back and into a separate room but stopping to say "you should probably go...meet me here tomorrow ok?", jane muttered "ok" before leaving to her own house, "tommorow huh? I guess he's gonna meet me there" she says to herself before going to sleep around 5 am.
