Well, today I was finally going to see Twenty One Pilots live.
I got dressed in my grey lil crop top with the alien on it, combined with some slayin skinny jeans and a snapback. I tried with my makeup but ended up giving up on my eyeliner as i could not get it straight or even to save my life . I dutch plait my rosy-coloured hair, hoping to avoid the hat hair that would come from the snapback.
I can't wait to see them.
I got off the bus in Manchester, near the arena, and almost ran to the entrance. I was two hours early and expected to be one of the first there, but boy was i wrong. I peered around the corner to see hundreds of people all covered with twenty one pilots merch and to my surprise, there were groups of people singing and some people had their ukuleles and one person even had a lil electric uke with an amp. He looked like a cool guy.
I went to the back of the queue, which didn't look quite as big when you were in it. The girls in front of me turned around and commented on my hair; one girl, who later told me her name was Alicia, said that my hair was the same shade as Josh's, and to be perfectly honest I'd only just realised. Alicia, Beccy and Sasha welcomed me into their little group when I told them I'd come by myself.
After half an hour, Beccy whipped out her ukulele and we started singing We Don't Believe What's on TV. Everyone around us was joining in and we had a group of about 20 people singing when people started being let into the arena. Multiple screams erupted from the queue, which had almost tripled in length since my arrival. I eyed my ticket, waiting for them to let me in. Beccy, Alicia and Sasha had seated tickets, so I wouldn't be near them. I had standing, which means my tiny 4ft11 frame would have to fight to the front. I'm not usually a pushy person but I would push with all my might if it was to get closer to Josh and Tyler.
The excitement was getting to me, and I wasn't the only one. A girl behind me started crying, and not like dainty crying, almost like howling. I turned around to comfort her and she was such a nice person, she had bright blue and green hair, which was so adorable. I called her mermaid and she answered. We ended up hugging and she was much taller than me, but so so nice. I love how the clique is so nice to eachother, and how we all just click together and can be frens.
I turned around and Beccy, Sash and Alicia waved frantically at me. For once, I had the illusion of friendship, so I waved back like a goose. I felt safe around these people, the clique, even if i hadn't met them all.
God damn, only half an hour until Twenty One Pilots are on stage. In front of me. In real life. I'm so excited, I've only ever seen videos, and I've been avoiding videos of the ERS so everything the boys did would be a surprise.
I waited.
Half an hour passed.
The start of HeavyDirtySoul echoed through the arena, and the crowd went wild.
There was Josh, sat right in front of me.
Then came Tyler, bouncing off his piano and rapping like a God.
a/n: yeah ik it's short but i have school n stuff, forgive me beans. Idk whether I'll carry this on, and it needs a title n stuffs, comment any ideas beany babies ok
