“So Tee, tell me about this guy you've been talking to and never told me hmmm?"

I hear a giggle and presume it's Tia's.

“Wow Dan! He's so lovely and has an amazing personality! He makes me smile and I feel like I can tell him anything you know? I just hope his looks are as good as his personality!"

Wait, so she's been talking to a guy and she likes him and she's never met him? I guess I've missed my chance.

“Message him now!"

“I will in a bit, when my nails are finished drying!"

I stormed off to my room and flung myself onto my bed. I got my laptop out and started scrolling through Twitter.

Then the chat box loaded for that dating website I'd been using. If I couldn't get Tia, maybe I could try and meet up with this girl?

I started typing a message

Me: Hey! how're you settling in? Are your hosts nice?:) x

After I typed the message I started grabbing games and putting them into a pile.

*PINGG*

I jumped back onto my bed and saw that she'd replied.

AverageGirl: Hiya! Sorry for that slow reply, I was a bit preoccupied! My hosts are lovely I seem to get on with all of them. But I kinda missed talking to you?:/ x

WHAT!? Ohmygod is this happening? She misses talking to me?!

Me: I missed talking to you too!:( I guess we have a small connection?:) We should meet up sometime?:D xx

Hopefully I didn't push her too far!

AverageGirl: I thought we had a small connection too:') I'd love to meet up! xx

Should I arrange something?

Me: How about we meet up on Friday? xx

AverageGirl: Yeah sounds great:D xx

Should I just say the park? It's pretty quiet there!

Me: How about we meet in the park? xx

AverageGirl: I don't know where that is but I'm sure I'll find it, I have to go my friend wants me urgh;) can we organise the time tomorrow?xx

Me: ofcourse! speak soon!xx

AverageGirl: Bye JustAnotherBoy:* xx

I shut my laptop, grabbed the games and rolled off the bottom bunk. I walked past the girls room again to hear more squealing but ignored it and went downstairs.

“Ohmygod Tee!! You're meeting your dream boy!!"

It still hadn't quite sunk in yet that I'd be meeting this guy.

“Eeeeeeeek! I'm so excited Dan! But what am I supposed to wear?"

“We'll sort it out when we go shopping tomorrow yah?"

“YAH!!" I had such a big smile on my face, I was genuinely so excited!
