what is going on! Agggg! I can't get her out of my head! Her long, crazy hair; her bright green eyes; her crazy, uniqueness; even her taste in music, none of that crappy pop. She was perfect... SHITAKI! Stop it, Xander, she isn't ready for you to do anything, she just needs to work it out with Kegan... But, what if she chooses him? Stop! One step at a time- let her choose... Crap, she docent have my number, I have her number... AGGGGG!!!
"Hey hey hey!" she picked up.
"Hey, Ash!"
"Oh! Xander! What's up?"
"I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go get some coffee..." I'm so glad she can't see my blush.
"sure, you can pick me up at... Now..."
"where?" wow, I wonder if she thought I would just know where her house was.
"umm, Evergreen terrace... The yellow house."
"ok, see ya."
"KK! Bye." she hung up and I grabbed my keys.
"Mom! I'm going! I'll be back at 5:45ish!" I shouted.
I found evergreen terrace and we went to Starbucks, i got two black coffees, and she didn't really say anything, until we sat down.
"why did you leave- you know when I fell asleep?" she looked at her cup, but didn't take a sip.
"I- umm, I- thought you needed some time to yourself- ya know, to calm down."
"oh," she looked down again.
"umm, so, what's your favorite color?" I tried to avoid the subject for a little bit.
"well- yesterday it was green, today it's red, I'm thinking blue for tomorrow? What about you?"
"I think Dark blue. Favorite animal?"
"LIGER!!!! you?" somehow she went from shouting to a one word question."
"First... What's a liger?"
"lion and a tiger."
"oh, that's pretty cool. I always liked elephants..."
"why?"
"umm, I think because when I was little- we did the save a elephant thing and mines name was Jace, I always thought they were so cool if they could have a name like Jace..."
"Hmmm, my turn! Favorite... Dwarf?"
"Hmm... I like Grumpy..."
"I'm personally a Dopey fan, but Grumpy is pretty cool too... Hmm, uniHORN or Pegasus?"
"Unicorn..." she glared. "what did I do?"
"it's a uni horn... It has one horn- not one corn!"
"well than- a unihorn."
"SAME! Sometimes I like to pretend I can fly around like a unihorn, and make rainbows!"
"Haha! My turn: favorite soda?"
"all of them mixed... Except grape soda- yuck-"
"You drink all the sodas mixed?"
"yea, it's fun when your at a restraunt because people look at you funny!"
"well, I like mountain dew..."
"cooleyo."
"How about... siblings?"
"I have a brother, Benj... He's at a boarding school though..."
"oh... I have a sister named Nikki. She's 24."
"that's cool... Soooooooo..."
"soooooooooo" I mimicked.
"have you ever been to the zoo?"
"yea, why?"
"I like the zoo... There aren't any ligers though- I like the kimono dragon. He looks so lonely!"
"okayyyyyy..."
"do you have any pets?"
"a dog named dee- oh- gie..."
"like DOG! That's so cool!"
"yea, I guess it is pretty cool."
"I have a fish named mr. Cupcake, everyday he grants me one wish... I always wish for the same thing though- an it always comes true."
"what?"
"to live... Ever since I had to got surgery- I always asked mr. Cupcake to let me live another day, but if there's ever a day when that's not my wish- I might die..."
"That's cool! I wish my dog granted wishes... I wouldn't have to worry about death..."
"One day I made a bad wish though... Instead of life... I asked for Mr. Cupcake to keep on living..."
I couldn't help but snicker at the sincerity in her voice.
"I know I sound crazy... But I like to think Mr.cupcake swims up to God, and tells him my prayers..."
"I don't think it's crazy- just funny."
"Do you like the color Ash Gray?"
"yea... It's pretty."
"you said I'm prettyyyyyy!" she sang.
I just laughed. Then I looked at my watch, crap! I have to go.
"I gotta go, sorry. Do you wat a ride home?"
"nah, I'm fine. I can walk..."
"ok, see ya at school."
"does this mean we're friends now?"
"I guess so." I left and drove home... That was fun!
