"-and apparently she dragged me all the way from the gym to the nurse! God-that girl is perfect!" Xander blabbed about some girl...
"Someone has a crush on the loner!" Tim sang... WAIT!
"Xander who carried you up three flights of stairs?!"
"Ash, I don't even know how I fainted."
"Wait! You like Ash!?!"
"yea, man. Don't you? She's actually really nice." he got a dreamy look on his face- I can't believe him!
"ummm... Well..."
"whatever."Xander turned and said to Jeff, "she even gave me her number!"
"dude, you gonna call her?"
"no shit Sherlock!"

~oh-God- I think I'm in love... Ash is perfect... Smart-funny---different...~
"Xander?" Kegan pulled me said, "do you seriously like Ash?!"
"Yea,man?"
"Did you not notice I like Ash!?"
"Man, you like the old ash... The-plain one."
"And-"
"She-has-changed--she-is-a-different-person!"
"no... She can't... She- couldn't..." he started to stare at a wall. I walked away.
"Hey! Wait- umm can you do me a favor man?" he caught up to me.
"Of corse, man. What?"
"Umm, can you maybe- notgooutwithash?"
"sorry man, I'm telling you- she's a different parson- she became a person I like."
"No! I won't believe you!"
"Whatever man, ask her yourself." I walked away.
I saw ash sitting outside, "Hey."
She looked up- confused- "hey, umm, I need your help-"
"With what?"
"I need to get it through Kegan's thick skull that I'm NOT who I used to be..."
"I think you're gonna have to do that yourself- i already tried."
She nodded. And continued to sit and do nothing.
"Ash- is something wrong? Like seriously wrong?"
"I'm, just, well- I keep thinking: if Kegan liked me, why would he ditch me- and for how long..."
"It's ok... You can figure it out- you're probably the strongest person I know..." I hugged her- it felt nice- it felt right...

if he liked me- why the fudge did he ignore me!!! If he loved me- why won't he accept that I've changed?!?! How long did he even like me- to leave me that quickly!? Why am I so damn confused?!?
I had told Xander everything- I opened up to him, I don't do that to just anyone. He didn't even tell me any answers, just that I could get through it. He broke almost a full minute of silence- by hugging me- I'm not a very huggy person, but with Xander, it felt right, like I had been his friend forever.
"Ash? Can you be honest with me a sec?" Xander pulled away from our hug.
"Sure." I looked up at him- did I just notice how tall he is? He must be almost 6 feet!
"Did you ever like Kegan?"
"As a friend- yes. Any other way- no. Why?"
"it's just- well- I- nevermind." he pulled me into a quick hug and let go I a matter of seconds. He started looking at something, or someone. I turned and saw Kegan walking over to us- he looked pissed.
"Ash." his voice was cold and harsh, at first it reminded me of when we were kids- {we were at the park- I had just jumped off the swing set. We must have been 5 tops- and he said in the same cold- dark voice, "Ashley, stop it. You'll die from a bird!" sure it was a stupid thing to say, but his voice scared me... That was the first and I thought last time I heard him so serious.}- I felt the same way: scared, worried- but I quickly recovered when I felt Xander give me a extremely short side hug- my worries melted away in that half second- and came back 2x worse when he let go.
I put on a brave face. "Yes, what do you want?"
"I love you." he blurted.
"Screw you! You don't love me- Kegan, I'm not innocent little Ashley anymore! Ok- I don't love you- after all this, I don't even like you!" I felt tears I my eyes. He took one more long look at me- and left.
The second he left- I burst into silent tears... I felt the warm hug of Xander-
I cried into his shoulder and let him hold me...

to be honest... I feel like ash is really weak in this chapter... But I swear- she is as badass as she should be!!!
